The TCP ladder will officially begin on the 5/11/2011 so no challenging someone until then
To be crystal clear, every match must be reported to me. You must report who the challenger was. Your rank your own and your opoonents rank(bronze, silver, gold, etc). You must report these matches to me on here, on http://forum.pracbudsc2.com/index.php or in-game. No match reports are to be posts on this or other threads unless it is the one i specifically made for ladder results.
This ladder will be base on the amount of points you have earned. The more you play, the more points you will have. To obtain points you must Challenge another player of TCP.
Point system:
Player Beats player of equal rank (gold vs gold) = 5 points to the victor
Player Beats player of lower rank (gold vs silver) = 3 points to the victor
Player Beats player of higher rank = 5 points + 1 if they're one rank above(gold vs plat) and plus 3 if they're two or more ranks above(gold vs diamond)
Player loses match = 1 point for playing the match
Grandmasters will be excluded from the ladder, but will be able to be challenged for a possible 10 points + 3 for every rank you are below them. They will still be shown on the ladder page but above the ladder rankings, showing the amount of times they've been challenged and how many they've won and lost. There is a limit each person can challenge a Grandmaster of once every 3 days
Challenge Rules:
Players can challenge anyone, depending on their rank.
Bronze and Silver can challenge anyone.
Gold cannot challenge bronze.
Platinum cannot challenge Bronze or Silver.
Diamond and Master cannot challenge below Platinum. However a master will only recieve 2 points for the win, due to the rank difference, this will change to being unable to play against plats when we have more people who are ranked diamond and higher
General Ladder Rules:
1. A player Cannot Refuse a Challenge, the challenge must be played out within 3 days of the challenge being issued unless the other player legitimately cannot make it. If there is no reason for being unable to complete the match a forfeit will be placed and no point awarded to the forfeiting player. The challenger will receive three points instead of five as well since no game has been played.
2. A player cannot challenge the same player more than once in a two day period. There must be at least one day in between the challenges. Dont try and bend this rule. This also means that if play A challenged player B, player B cannot challenge play A until the next day
3. Challenges must be announced in the TCP channel so that their may be witnesses to the challenge being laid down, challenge result must also be announce in the channel.
4. You can only challenge a player that is online.
5. The results of ALL challenges must get to me in some way. You can either message me in-game or message me on SC2SEA.
6. Since this is of course a TCP ladder, you may only challenge TCP members.
If you have any questions in how this will work then please post below and I will answer and edit this post with the answer. Also if you have a good suggestion then please post it below, these rules wont be set in stone until the ladder starts

updated the points a bit,
only 3 points if you win against a lower rank
and a master will now only receive 2 points for winning against a plat. this will change when we have more members that are diamond and above
wow that's really long. It seems like just the same few people are challenging each other and pretty restrictive . I'll make a new post about a suggested new format and we can discuss there And I can't access the TCP section because of site moves and all so I'll post in C&C section
