For a while now, it's been no secret that I've been turning my full attention towards the Australian Cyber League in 2012, as we'll be aiming to make ACL the premier StarCraft II event for Australia.
With that said, I'm proud to announce that the first destination in the 2012 ACL circuit will be the Gold Coast - on January 21st & 22nd.
It's official, Australian Cyber League's first event for the 2012 season has been announced on the beautiful and sunny Gold Coast! The 2012 ACL Pro Circuit will feature the best and most competitive titles, which means for 2012 you will see Modern Warfare 3 replacing Black Ops, Fifa 12 replacing Fifa 11 and the addition of Starcraft 2 to our National Circuit. Don't miss out on your chance to compete against the best Australia has to offer, catch up with your friends, spectate the the best professionals go head to head and experience all the action of an ACL event first hand! Prepare yourself for the 2012 ACL Pro Circuit, where we will truly take professional gaming to the next level.
For the first time we will be working together with Bond Casual Gaming Society. ACL will be considered part of their 'Gamer's Life Convention', which will also play host to a multitude of casual gamers and anime screenings. If you're keen to play some casual PC or console titles, you will be able to register for a casual gaming section, powered by LanSmash.
ACL Qualifiers
Players across Australia can choose to compete at any of the following qualifying events. Your placing in these events will allow you to accumulate points over the course of an entire circuit, and the top ranking players will be invited to participate at the finals. In addition to this format, there will also be an online qualifier - however players who attend the offline events will be eligible for more points. Whilst players are eligible to compete in as many qualifying events as they like, they will only be rewarded points for their best single ranking.

Azz had a chance at this one point in the game where he had a nexus and 6 probes. But he found a way to **** it up from there 3 times in a row - Iaguz
That was quick! I only just updated the original post a little while ago, hehe.
Please feel free to leave questions in this thread people... I've been getting heaps of people sending me messages on twitter, facebook, skype, msn, battle.net, etc... and more often than not I'll just ask you to post in the thread. Because at least then, I don't answer the same questions to 7 different people. Everyone can come to the one, single location for their information.
Edit: Dox, will there be an email sent out to people who have registered just to confirm if you're going and will a list of registered players be released? Thanks .

Hmm, I'll chase up the e-mail confirmation, but for the time being, you can view a list of all registered players for each qualifier via these links:
