Team Liquid's HuK signed with Evil Genius
This comes after several tournament wins including DreamHack for HuK
GL Liquid and GL HuK
Try to include a topic question regarding how SC2SEA feels about this change. It brings about a large source of discussion for anyone who wishes to take part, especially seeing as this is an incredible change to foreigner teams in SC2. For example, to everyone on the forum:
What do you think are the pros and cons of HuK leaving Team Liquid and moving to Evil Genius? Do you agree to it? Finally, what do you think lies in store for both of the teams involved in this high level player trade?
Personally I think the move is great for HuK, as he will finally getting paid well for what he does. I agree with his move, but feel that Team Liquid is now missing one of their greatest assets. To be honest, I believe that TL, as one of the best foreigner teams (in the form of current wins/trophies/prize money etc.) will continue to find great players and compete at a professional standard in all forms of SC2 tournaments on the foreigner and Korean circuit. For EG, I think they have strengthened their team just that little bit more, and they will begin to be the foreigner powerhouse with this addition to their already strong team.

I don't particularly mind this at all. HuK is HuK.
What I feel a bit confused with is the folks who don't like that he joined EG. I don't understand why people dislike EG. I understand they may take offense to idra's bad mannerisms (which are hilarious when you stop acting as if they they were directed at you) and Geoff's large ego stomping nature (which is entertaining as long as you don't take him too seriously. Which you shouldn't until he wins.... something) but there's inherently wrong with the organisation other then "they have money". You know who else has money? FXO. **** those pricks and their financial ways. See how silly that seems?
Personally, I came to like Huk because of Huk, and I like TL because of TL. Would feel the same about them if they never had anything to do with each other. I'm glad it's all been done nicely though. Progamer or not, it's still Huk's profession and he has to do the best thing for his career, both now and in the future. I doubt he'll ever forgot how TL helped him become what he is, but that doesn't oblige him to stay with TL forever.
Having said all of that, Huk had a rep before TL, and it turns out TL was a great fit. No doubt that a good deal of his success will have been because it seems to all have just gone smoothly with him and TL. I hope the same is true in EG. Different people, different personalities, etc. And some have a rep of their own.....
Personally I think it's great, and it's really made me start to want to follow a team (EG), which I didn't before. Huk, Idra, PuMa, Demuslim, (and maybe one more big name).......wow, what a lineup to follow....
Aww, I'll miss HuK playing in the oGsTL team
HuK was definitely a great representation of Liquid... hope he gets even better with EG, as I think EG is pulling stronger and stronger now with so many new players on the team.
I think HuK will really miss his teammates, because Liquid only has six players (more now that HerO and Sheth joined), so he was working very closely will all of them, or at least in very frequent contact. As a thread said (forgot which one, TL I think) it would be better for HuK to join EG from a business standpoint, which is why I think he made the change.
