An up and coming terran player from

Singapore with a lot of potential. Hes in NS and doesn't have time to play that much but plays remarkably well having just 260 ladder wins over the last 4 seasons but already GM and taking games off many aLt players. He blogs here occasionally, is well mannered and has a nice gf, very well rounded guy!

Grats aLt on being SEAL 2 champions! Sorry I wasn't around online to be celebrating with you guys on skype, I was busy booking back into my military camp and didn't get to watch pig's clutch victory so awesome

pig! And I am also quite disappointed with my own results losing two and only winning one

hopefully this busy time that I'm currently having in Army will end soon and I can get back to practise and shape and give better results in the future!

But what's important is we won and here's a cheers to us working hard together to winning Frogs' Cup too! Congratulations and celebrations to all aLt personnels!

Let it be known from this day aLt will be considered a pro team sponsored by SC2SEA.com

This is mostly for "eligibility reasons" so we are able to join "Pro-Team" leagues which excluded clans simply because they have no "sponsorships" which i feel is not right.

SC2SEA.com is now the major sponsor of clan aLt. SC2SEA.com has previously sponsored moonglade entering the NASL. SC2SEA.com will continue to help sponsor teams and players where they feel there is merit in order for them to play in certain competitions where the only thing stopping them from playing was "sponsorship" - as in NASL's case as well.

What this means:

Certain of our players will be sponsored with TW Korean accounts
Certain players will be sponsored air tickets.

e.g in two weeks we will be sending one player to Korea on a working holiday. PARTLY to do some market research and understanding of pro-gaming and korean culture to help the team grow. PARTLY for holiday coz he needs a break.

These expenses have already eclipsed the budget of most "pro-teams."

Existing pro-team players:

They are free to represent their existing sponsors at all times.
They have absolutely no obligation to us to perform any specific duties and are not under any contract whatsoever.

Thanks to everyone who showed up, especially the guys who drove down from Sydney. Even though some of us may not have done as well as we wanted (I know I didn't...I fell just short of the Top 16, which was my goal.), I'm sure we can all agree (well...hopefully!) that it was a fun experience.

As for replays, there was an issue with the PCs where if they get 'logged out' they delete all data and revert to how they were previously, so many of the replays were lost. However, we only lost 2 Bo3s from the Top 16 bracket and half of the games from the first 5 matches. We'll release a replay pack in the near future.

Was nice meeting all of you.

EDIT: Would also like to give a shoutout to mGGSouth, who is only 13, but despite his young age he showed great skill by making Top 8.

This is to announcement to recruitment of FaDeManly into clan aLt, our first Singapore member in a year. Manly will still remain a part of FaDe, just as aLtCure aka FaDeCurse still remains a part of both FaDe an aLt.

Statement from nirvAnA:Many people may not know this but Curse was a player/coach of FaDe for quite a while now and is close with Team FaDe. They recently even had a farewell party for FaDeShampoo in Singapore! Cure and Manly have been bum buddies for a while now and Manly was seeking for some more Singaporean companions to practise with making this transition natural. As for the Clan League, players can only play for one team. Having talked with Meatex, he graciously allowed Manly and Cure to play for aLt as he realised we needed these players much more then FaDe, as aLt has a very thin lineup.

Statement from Meatex: aLtCure (aka FaDeCurse) and FaDeManly have been long beloved parts of the FaDe family. Both players offered to play for FaDe and nirvana even said we could have both but as much as we would have loved to go into battle together we want to see aLt play in SEACL.

Also, we support Manly's move to aLt as a full clan member. Sad as we are to have to share him, we feel that its a good and logical move and understand why he moved despite being a loyal FaDey. We wish the best to Manly and good luck to aLt in SEACL *^.^* This is not goodbye as both are still a part of trying to build Team FaDe. Only good things can come of this, and maybe in a season or two we will see FaDe v aLt showdown

Statement from Manly: We asked Manly on his thoughts on why this was happening to which he responded "Because I'm Manly". No that is not true. But that is what he said when I asked him why he chose Manly as his name!
