I would like there to be a different theme for the next round. Considering this is a Starcraft website, a Starcraft theme would be totally pimping. Something like we're Terran's (Citizen's), and we have to kill off the Infested Terrans (Mafia).

2 Reasons why I will not do this

1. It requires work from me to redo all the roles to make sense in the SC2 universe
2. It means players may get confused as to what role is what

This game is about the gameplay and the interaction with other players, not a roleplay.

For a suggestion, I'd like a rule where people can cannot be lynched on the first day to make it more of a deduction game rather than random lynches and luck. Also would like it if people can choose not to vote. This means that lynching may not occur everyday if people decide that they would rather not lynch on that day due to lack of information etc.

I don't think this will happen as it will make the games drag on longer which Benji doesn't want.

About first day random lynch
I don't think anything can be done about the 'first day random lynch' because if you suspend the first day random lynch, the random lynch just comes about the next day, and it's still a random lynch if you get what I mean.

Luck is still a big part of Mafia, just like any card game. You may have the best of skill, but if luck deals you a bad hand, there's nothing else you can do with it.

choosing not to vote
There already IS such an option - which players like myself, HDPhoenix and others I haven't noticed, have used. It's just randomly throwing your vote! This is the 'choose not to vote' option.

5 man Mafia too big
I think Mafia shouldn't be a 5 man team, it takes too much coordination, especially with inactive people or those who don't use IMs. As you all could see, I was the one coordinating the hits until I died, and it was hard to even come up with a name with people PMing me last minute, etc

Underpowered roles
Informant seemed pretty useless if separated from the Vigilante - they are only useful if they're dead, as noone will believe their 'hints' or 'suggestions' until they are dead and their role revealed. So they kinda feel like a sacrificial role and have little chance of winning (or little difference from Citizens)

Survivor/Professional/Joker
As mentioned, Professional seems a little easy to win.
But I don't think Survivor is underpowered at all. It seems fine to me.
Think joker is fine too.

Random thoughts about this round
It was amusing to see people start analyzing 'vote-trends' mid-way into the game because if the Mafia knew what they were doing, they would deliberately avoid vote trends. Perhaps pikk0n understood this perfectly and was trying to draw suspicion from himself. Regardless, he played an excellent game imo, and lacked any opposition (i.e. someone who was willing to invest similar amounts of time to analyse and pick HIM out. (I could be entirely wrong about this because I only visited the thread occasionally after I died)) and used this to manipulate everyone to think how he wanted to.

About random votes - I started the whole RNG vote thing last round, and there was a clear logic to it - any kind of vote stacking (e.g. A votes for B, and you follow with a vote for B) may and will be used against you in the future. This is why I was never supportive of 'following the crowd' in the first few rounds.

perhaps this may be a trend in future rounds, where everyone just RNGs their first few votes and see what the RNG chooses to do. Or perhaps everyone will want to lynch pikk0n next round, because he's shown he's too good
