Would be cool to rebuild the Sydney scene and SC2 scene in Australia in general but I don't think you would get many people with that time slot (it's very early). I'd recommend trying to get like an 11am-12pm start at the earliest if possible. Keep in mind that PiGSty Cups run from 11:30am-late if you want a guideline for time slots.

Yes we understand it is early, however here in Sydney a lot of venue's are actually 75% full by 11:30am-12pm. To get a group in at that time and attempt to get a cohesive set of PC's ( basically, peak hour ) is not only difficult but to actually reserve those seats will be costing the group more money than if they got up earlier. To simply walk in and reserve a PC for an hour is $2 per pc. We are offering to do this for anyone who confirms they are coming, on the basis they will pay on arrival.
Since we are just in start up, have no signed sponsor's or a member base, any cost towards holding pc's at this point of time for an unspecified turn up is unfortunately not a good business practice. We would like to keep cost's down for everyone until we have hit a sufficient level of growth.
The time session is just when we are planning on being there, holding seat's. We might even run past that time, since we already have the pc's!
Early bird gets the worm, and whilst this wont be appealing to ALL players, we wont be able to budge on time until we get a solid member base participating every Saturday.
Once we have a solid member base ( around 35-50 ), We can open the meeting times up to a later period in the morning, as we can guarantee the seats to the venue at a lower cost.
Hope that clear's up the reason's behind the morning schedule!
