The first time I was beaten by a GM level player was in my first or second game at Starcraft. By that time i only knew how to make two gates in my main and send my zealots all across the map till they reach my oponent's base.
I don't remember his name, I knew nothing about starcraft back then (WoL times ).
The guy was pretty nice though, he gave me some advices and showed me some websites where I could find guides to get started :P
