Well for those of you who don’t know, the Ninth Legion has been around since February 2012 and it’s had some great times. Seen some great players come through, some stayed and some moved on to the other things.

We’ve built up an awesome community of gamers who just want to have fun playing Starcraft 2, Street Fighter, League of Legends and Counter Strike. And of course, we’ve got some more serious guys who aspire to achieve greatness in eSports.

Things have been a bit quiet as of late while we’ve tried to plan for the future. We’ve decided to hit the reboot button. We’ve regrouped, restructured, set some objectives and put in place a solid plan of action.

So without further ado…

Introducing the new IXL leadership team

• Eugene “KingSlayer” Astuto - Spawning Pool Lifeguard (PR Manager)

What do we do

We play games (duh). Starcraft 2, Streetfighter, League of Legends, Counter Strike. We practice against one another, we run a Battle School for lower league players wanting to improve (more about this shortly), we stage awesome tournaments, we make content for the community, we have LAN meet ups, we have pro players and of course we have a tonne of fun.

What we’ll be doing in the near future

• Inner clan competitions with a ranking system
• Inter clan competitions
• Open Tournaments
• Growing the IXL Battle School
• Building up some pro teams
• LAN meet-ups

Part of our plan is recruiting. As an IXL clan member you would be expected to abide by minimum code of conduct. Please have a read of the IXL Code of Conduct before applying .

Haha this actually makes a lot of sense. Funny thing is, we did a quick google search out of curiosity. There are so many 9th Legions out there. Somebody somewhere obviously stuffed up the Legionaire numbering system.

We want to build up regional IXL chapters in each state who can get together and organise these sort of things. First step however is recruiting some more numbers then appointing a local leadership team of 3 people for that chapter. When we do tee this up. All players from all clans welcome ... obvs

Just wanted to point out that this is quite obviously not true... might be a good idea though haha. Also Luke, if you dont mind, can you remove the IXL from your name if you are not an active member? I really dont like the idea of you giving people the impression you represent us when you no longer do.

What individual clan members do with their accounts is up to them provided that they don't breach the Code of Conduct.

For the record we don't condone smurfing, we don't spy on our members.

What we do is what I've spelled out above. At the end of the day, we're not interested in politics or any sort of BS. All we're interesting in is having fun playing games as part of a community (hence reboot).

I understand that you're no longer with the clan and that's cool. People are free to come and go. If you could get your name changed that would be much appreciated.

You do realise I put that name change request in months ago. It got rejected and now I'm waiting months again.

Except for when I'm confronted anonymously by people on NA who were using aliases and refused to identity themselves, while using personal information from Skype to harass me.

Sorry you had that experience.

Honestly can't speak for what used to go on before. But if ever something like that ever happened now and you had suspicions that it was a fellow IXL member, we would expect that it be brought to our attention and we would look into and deal with it maturely within the clan. This is why we now have rules in place. The whole idea of being in any clan should be to have fun playing together as part of a community.

Dude you pretty much kicked from IXL for complaining 24/7 and not listening to anyone, probably why you were kicked from AxS too.

ToR has its own Ministry for State Security so i don't see what the big deal is about spying on members. If you are worrying about spying then you are obviously an enemy of the state(IXL) and should be dealt with. Do not question the activities of your clan leadership they work only for you, surely anyone that questions the leadership is a political dissident funded by foreign influences(Nirvana). They should be dealt with accordingly as ToR did in the cowardly revolution of 2012(or 2011 i forget). I wish you all the best IXL may your new clan flourish.
