For those not aware, in 2013 we created the SEA Championship Series season, SCS finals series and SEA Player/Power Rankings. We allocated SCS (SEA Championship Series) points for most regular online SEA tournaments throughout the year, all counting towards seeding and qualifying for our $2100 Grand Finale weekend.

Season 2 has now started. Leader Board + Player Database can be found here. We've implemented several changes, and improvements, creating more opportunities for players to acquire points.

However, we are re-branding ourselves, and are looking for a new name for our end of season finals championship. (We will still call the tournament points we give out SCS points.) Reasons behind the championship name change, are most of our sponsors and target audience are AU + NZ/Oceania based, so including that in our name will help promotion and marketing in those areas, as well as giving international audiences a greater idea of where our region is located, as SEA can be pretty vague to some. We're not removing SEA, just presenting ourselves in a more marketable manner.

So ideally a new name will have Australia, New Zealand + South East Asia or Oceania +South East Asia in some wording.

So what to call SCS Finals in 2014?

OSEANIC Championship
OSSC - Oceanic + SEA SC2 Circuit
ANSAC - Australia, New Zealand + South East Asian Annual Championship
