Heroes of the Storm : the game formely known as Blizzard All-stars

Blizzard has finally Re-announced Blizzard all-stars, as heroes of the storm,citing "more news to come at blizzcon"

What we do know :

Dustin Browder is game director
There will be multiple maps
Will be free to play

The game is finished enough that they will be doing live matches at Blizzcon (and broadcasting them) , notably different to previous iterations, (the most we'd seen previously was via sixens video series(mainly speculation) and this panel from 2011.

More news should leak out as blizzcon approaches, there will be a 1-hour Overview presentation on the game on the first day of blizzcon, with a presentation showcasing development on saturday, to be followed by live matches.

sounds pretty cool actually, will have to try it to see whether it lives up to its former glory.

i remeber reading a good comment on TL about this.

they changed the name to Heros of the Storm because they didnt want people to call it BAllS

fair point. id rather ask people if they play on HotStorm rather than if they play on BAllS
