A New year has come around and already we're seeing a multitude of events emerge, this document has been created to both inform players of upcoming Events as well as help organisers avoid any double booking fiascoes

Ah there's a fair amount of Melbourne events in March, hopefully us Melbournians can keep it up for the rest of the year.

Ok ladies and gentleman the calendar has undergone a makeover.

From now on Arnor and myself will be working to keep this up to date.

Tier 1 Tournament = $0 - $150 Prize Pool
Tier 2 Tournament = $150 - $500 Prize Pool
Tier 3 Tournament = $500+ Prize Pool
Community Event = Clan Wars, Barcrafts, Race Wars, Community Fundays etc

I will also be sending Blizzard an email each week with the coming weeks events so if you run an event make sure you run it through me via Skype (bradley_baldwin) or via SC2SEA PM so I can make sure it both goes up on the calendar and to Blizzard - who knows you might get some exposure from it!

Consider it like applying for a featured event on TL - We will screen events to make sure they match criteria and put them up accordingly. If there starts to be too many community events appearing I will have to put some heavier requirements up!

We hope this becomes a way for everybody to keep up to date with what's happening from a competitive to a community level.

I feel like calling $100 prize pool a 'major' is silly. You're effectively calling $100 comp = $2000 ACL comp (which obv isn't true).

Maybe if it was $100 first place as a minimum? (I'd personally put $500 total as a min. to be 'Major', but that's just me)

I have added another feature to the events calendar: Public Holidays and Major Events.

This is designed to aid event organizers in knowing what events are happening around the world and also any public holidays to note. Unfortunately I cannot keep track of holidays outside of Australia and New Zealand so should any of you guys from Singapore etc be able to provide me with information of your major holidays then I will gladly add them.

Do not hesitate to let me know when a major event is announced I do not have up and/or a public holiday of national significance. Do note I will not put up information on things such as WCS and other ongoing tournaments until they reach a final stage.

We're back up and running! I will update it each Friday at a mimumum. Hopefully it helps any organisers out there. Remember you can always let me know anything you have planned in advance to give people the most notice/ensure somebody else doesn't book something on the same day!
