Organisations often run into an issue where they want the best players and so all get into a bidding war where everyone's throwing false/exaggerated promises around. This sort of culture is pretty ingrained in eSports organisations and it really sucks for players getting involved for the first time and realising there is zero free support in eSports, despite the many promises they hear.

For me settling with Exile 5 was an easy fit because they were straight-up honest about what they could offer me and what they wanted in return. I hope other teams can start to adopt the same attitude as more money gets involved and it moves closer to the professional sphere.

You had support from "high level people" because they will stick up for the little guy in a sponsor vs player situation but that doesn't excuse the way you act. Did they jump in and give support in a meaningful way or just tell you over skype or in a forum blog that you were right?

They didn't help me directly per say but they helped others in the future, I can't really say much else...
