Please read the rules if this is your first time entering

+ [ Rules, Regulations and Tournament Eligibility] +

Tournament Eligibility:
You must be legitimately in the Bronze, Silver or Gold league (1v1 - SEA license) and you must be active on ladder.
Everyone will be checked for typical smurf activity designed to keep them in a lower league.
Anyone found to be smurfing will be added to the BSG Hall of Shame so everyone can be aware of their shameful acts.

Battle.net group: "sc2seaBSG"

Rules

• You must contact your opponent on Battle.net preferably by being in chat channel "sc2seaBSG" to play your match
• You have ~15 minutes to start your Round 1 match; anybody that is not contactable after 10 minutes will be disqualified. This 10 minute timeout rule applies throughout the tournament.
• You must play your main 1v1 ladder race throughout tournament.
• Observers: Tournament admins or official streamers are always allowed and the only ones to observe your game
• Problems/Questions: When in doubt about anything, contact an admin
• Reporting Results: After the match has been played, you must report the result by pm to an admin
• Disconnects: If a player disconnects, use the 'Resume from Replay' feature to continue the game. If the player has gone offline completely, inform an admin and wait 10 minutes for them to return.
• Pauses: You must notify your opponent in game if you wish to pause. This pause should not exceed 5 minutes. Excessive pausing in game may lead to disqualification.
• Bad Manner will not be tolerated. Anyone caught BMing will be warned. Further offenses will lead to disqualification. Any racist, hateful or excessively derogatory language may lead to removal without warning. We are a friendly group and we'd like to see it stay that way.
• Replays: Should be saved at least until the following tournament. Anyone asked by admins to provide a replay who cannot do so will be disqualified.
• Anyone suspected of smurfing (playing another person's account, manipulating ladder to be in a lower league) will be thoroughly investigated and if found guilty, prizes will be stripped and they will be reported to Blizzard and added to the Hall of Shame.

As a new season has started, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO DO YOUR PLACEMENTS BEFORE FRIDAY (30TH OF AUGUST 2013.

Failure to do so is an immediate disqualification.

For all those who are BSG last season and still are this season, welcome back.

For those who were PLATINUM or DIAMOND last season and are now placed in BRONZE, SILVER or GOLD, you are not allowed to participate for the next TWO to THREE weeks and are required to ladder VERY ACTIVELY. And by VERY ACTIVELY, I mean 30 THIRTY games per week (this is a standard set after some discussion with some prominent members of the community. Problem? Then it's only you who has a problem). In TWO to THREE weeks, you are required to have a MINIMUM of SIXTY games played LEGITIMATELY for consideration to play. CONSIDERATION. Playing is NOT GUARANTEED.

Failure to do so is an immediate disqualification.

Also, a clarification of an existing rule. RANDOM players are not allowed to race pick unless an Admin has been informed a WEEK before for SELECTED matchups.

EXAMPLE 1 - Player A vs Player B - Player A did not inform an Admin and race picks. DISQUALIFIED
EXAMPLE 2 - Player A vs Player B - Player A informed an Admin and race picks. PLAY ON

If you ladder a specific race but because of Unranked 1v1s and Ranked/Unranked Teams you are now placed as RANDOM, inform an Admin at once. Please refer after the red text for ways to help facilitate your claims.

Failure to do is grounds for immediate questioning and potentially disqualification.

Also, please update your sc2sea accounts with the proper details as it is the fastest and easiest way without needing to open up SCII to check your league and race.

Semi Finals bo3 on Yeonsu LE
Finals bo5/3 on Frost LE

But... but!! everyone has same advantage then >.<... im already 20+ games into new season i forgot all of the old maps :P lol

Would certainly be interesting, if panda doesn't mind setting it up so first few rounds on old maps and semi/finals on new maps, I'd prolly change options.

Ya, i am going to follow up with my statement to appease all would be the first couple rounds play on old maps... then RO8, RO4, Finals have starting map as new ones?? That way we can see some of the better players deal with it?!

Apparently not. Its always the first Sunday of September.

Father's day is on a different day in Australia compared to other countries.

Anyway, in terms of maps, I'd say start with the new ones right up. It will make for very interesting decisions and plays. Besides, everyone playing on here would be laddering with that new map pool so I don't really see a problem.

Its been a while since I have been around, its time to play again!

IT HAS BEEN DECIDED!

We will use new maps for the rounds where they are a best of 3 and 5. To see some of the maps not included in this season's map pool, the best of 1 series are dedicated to them (well, two of them...the ones that don't get a spot were horrible to begin with ).

I hope you all did your ladder games....or you gonna have a baaaaaaaaad time...
