Seems like many people don't know that Twitch is changing some of the broadcasting requirements to be brought in Sept 1st in order to remain compatible with the mobile device market.

The page explains it in detail and provides links that go into greater detail for people using Xsplit and OBS. The easiest way to make sure you are compatible is to download the latest version of the software as Twitch states that the latest version of Xsplit and OBS already have the correct parameters as default. Alternatively you can simply manually make sure your settings are correct if you are familiar enough with how your software works.

TL;DR: Update or download to newest version of XSplit and OBS since they have the parameters set already.
