On August 31 and September 01, 2013 The Masters Of Koreign Invitational will set a new benchmark for Koreigners everywhere with a record breaking prize pool of $500*. Now it is your chance to join in! In recognition of the SC2SEA community that allowed our tournament to thrive we have held 4 seeds into the MoK Invitational finals open for members of the In-House clans, and competitive teams of SC2SEA!

MoK Invitational Qualifier

The Prizes:
1st - $75 and MoK Invitational Seed.
2nd - $25 and MoK Invitational Seed.
3rd & 4th - MoK Invitational Seed

When is it?
August 17, 2013: Bracket announced at 18:00 (AEST)

Where is it?
SEA Server, Social Group: "Masters Of Koreign"

Who can join?

This is a 64-player single-elimination tournament. Only members of SC2SEA administration, and registered members of SC2SEA affiliated Clans and Competitive Teams may participate. All leagues are welcome to sign-up, but players in higher leagues will be given priority. Players who have received an invite to the MoK Invitational Finals may not participate in the Qualifier.

1) Players must sign up and play using their Clan affiliated account (See above). No smurfs! No barcodes! Any players who register or play with such an account will be removed from the tournament. This is a SEA community event. Be proud to represent your clan!

2) Signups close 30 minutes before the tournament begins. No late entries will be permitted so get your names in early!

3) A 10 minute grace period will be given at the start of the tournament for latecomers to arrive. If after 10 minutes you cannot find your opponent then contact an administrator (Jhedjuka.656, KoreignNine.160)

The qualifier is our way of saying thanks to the SC2SEA community that helped us with their love and support over the last year by giving them the opportunity to take part in an MoK format tournament and giving them the opportunity after qualifying to play vs the best SEA and MoK has to offer.

I'll need a little more information. What is DGTV? Are you partnered/under consideration for SC2SEA affiliation. Have you, yourself, ever belonged to a SEA clan before? Let me know then I can give you a better informed decision on your entry.

Narse is currently a member of DGTV. They're active on SEA server, and their members are active on these forums. Their founder / leader also used to admin the BSG weekly tournament for a while, until he recently stepped down.
Prior to that, he used to be a member of AxS, who are an active clan on SEA and these forums as well, and are also a House Clan.

DGTV = Dominion Gaming TV. There is a youtube channel as well. 2 of the members (now 1) took Asrathiel's position for running the weekly BSG tournaments held here on the website. I believe we are under consideration however we were told to be more apart of the community as well, which is currently what we are doing (as far as i know?).

I use to be apart of AxS as well. However i feel i am sc2sea's adopted Canadian player as i am in EST time zome, but would rather participate in tournaments on SEA times.

Hope this helps a bit more, however i am only in Gold league, i doubt i'll be making waves in this tournament, mainly wanted to make sure i am doing things properly for your tournament in specific

Given your contributions to the SEA community, I see no problem with letting members of GDTV enter the tournament

We saw that too in the signups and have found out it is legitimately FXOLucky. We are looking into his connections on SEA (if any) and given, to my knowledge, he has had no involvement in SEA community events we will advise him that he may not enter this tournament and thus remove him from the bracket. He has 2 days to prove otherwise to us.
