Ok, i work away in central Qld. Being the kind of guy i am, one of the few things i look forward to when returning home is playing some ladder on Sc2. Never had a problem like this, its simple. I click on the Sc2 icon (as i normally do) and it comes up with the checking for updates window...then nothing. It just sits there. I have tried google, looked around as best i can in this drunken state and am yet to find anything that yields any results. If anyone of you SEA brohams can help me out that would be great. Pretty fkn devo i can't play a game THAT I PURCHASED.

Yea at the peak of my intoxication i finally came across a thread that said something about something and closing down (chrome/firefox) and only using standard internet explorer and re opening starcraft. F**ks me how or why using alternative methods or browsing should affect my game, anyway, crisis resolved. CARRY ON, NOTHING TO SEE HERE!
