i think the only person who has a realisitc chance qualifying for GSL is moonglade
everyone else either doesnt play that much to get good or does but isnt talented enough
moonglade = lots of hard work + lots of talent which is like ultimate combo
Not to mention dashing good looks!
BTW GLaDe will be in Japan while GSL is on most likely, otherwise he may have been competing or so I heard. Leg will be in Korea in December.
I think you are underestimating some SEA players - they rig the qualifier brackets for foreigners and with the right bracket I am sure a dozen or so players would have a chance at the top64!
hmmm. cos my fren will need to go to korea on 14th november to 16th. and he just wanna know if there is anybody goin. cos he is like afraid to go alone. HAHA
I agree with some people and also disagree with some.
I think showing support for people that just wants to have some fun or learning experience would be good wouldn't it? Who knows some SEA tycoon happened to be there and notices the e-sports scene then it'd benefit us. Lol.
Also, instead of comparing with some well-established players, and say "No you shouldn't waste your time".. I believe there are still hidden talents that needs grooming and also some players do better under pressure.
I don't know how it works over there but overall, you should at least get some pointers or practice matches.

Couldn't agree more with this. Really hoping glade makes the trip over tho
edit: actually i think a few of us could have more than a 'realistic' chance of qualifying, i mean, there are some seriously horrible players in the Ro64 and even Ro32 from what I've seen, but it'd all depend on brackets etc. But Glade's the only person that I think could have a decent shot at a placing worth traveling over for.

But then again, you get people who are extremely good like tester who didn't even qualify.
