Absolutely LOVE ACL and travel around to the different ones just to participate in the open bracket and spectate. I wonder with this role, will you be the person that we talk to about feedback of events?

Yes.
I strongly suggest everybody watch the entirety of the VoD, if not at least first half, linked above as it contains some valuable information about ACL and SC2 this year.
TL;DR If you need or want something communicated to ACL I'm your man. If I am not the person to answer your question or resolve your concern I will always lead you in the right direction to who can.
What is your emphasis for this year at events? Will it be more spectator based or the emphasis on players and playing conditions?
A few questions such as the above have come up in chat so I figured it best I say here so I don't repeat myself.
Firstly I will say I am not a replacement for Dox nor will my roll be exactly what Dox did - however it will cover a lot of similar aspects.
TL;DR In day to day I'm just the pretty face who is active enough on SC2SEA and has enough of a reputation that my words will carry weight and can accurately communicate what ACL needs to while keeping an eye out on the relationship between SC2SEA and ACL making sure that stays healthy.
On event day I will float around various sectors filling gaps which show up and being a primary source of communication for players.
Towards the latter half of 2012 Norksman became very active with his contributions to ACL and post WCS started to run some events on behalf of ACL. The "head admin" position is well and truly Norksman's role and he will be the main person responsible for creating brackets, formats etc. Norksman is a bloody legend and works very hard so make sure you give him lots of hi-5s and thumbs up where appropriate.
During events Norksman will be heavily focused on ensuring the brackets run smoothly and administrating proceedings.
At a simple level at events my role is to take as much out of the headspace of Norksman so he can focus 100% on doing the job right with back end. This means communicating with players, ensuring computers are being used efficiently and effectively and supporting with administration where neccessary. I will also be updating twitter feeds on results throughout the day.
My commitment at any ACL event is to float between the various sections and fill any gaps I see to ensure ACL events run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
When not at events I will be staying in regular contact with the SC2 community on behalf of ACL and communicate between both parties. Any questions or concerns you can always run through me and I will make sure it gets to the appropriate person.
