Anyone managed to find a fix to the "You need an authorized language pack from blizzard blabla" when you try to connect to korea? Similarly to the rest facing this problem, i've got a kr trial account under my account previously. Changing the variable file to zhtw works but its way more laggy compared to using the english client and connecting to kr server(borrowed my friend's acc and tried it).

Nah there isn't a fix yet. I assume we'll just have to wait till Blizzard releases global play officially. Given that this has already been leaked and is in use by tons of players that's likely to be soon.

Steps:

1) Open up where your StarCraft 2 Folder is at.
2) Create a text document from notepad, and copy paste the coding.
3) "Save As" > Change Save as Text Document to Save to All Files.
4) File name change to regions.xml
5) Save.
6) Restart Client.
7) Wait for the magic button

Since some people really do not know how to make a XML file here is the one i made. I know people will be having trouble with file extentions not being shown and not knowing how to get them up.

place it in:
For 64bit systems: C:\Program Files (X86)\Starcraft II
For 32bit systems: C:\Program Files\Starcraft II

If your PC dose not have a program files (X86) is probably 32bit .

That file location is for 64 bit machines. If you are using 32 bit there is no X86 ^_^

That regions.xml trick is amazing! so awesome being able to switch to any server with a single click.

Now that EVERYONE knows the trick and are already playing on other servers, I wonder if Blizzard is ever going to need to officially release global play lol.
