What I still need :
I need all qualified players : South, Maverick, Titan, Zeratul, Probe, Tion, Paranormal and Hazard
and wild cards : Alpha, Goose, Cookiemonsta, Chase, Fender, Tiger (and anyone else who is interested to respond esp if you did inform me but I left you out)
to confirm
by 31 Oct (Wednesday) so that I can work out the brackets
and plan for the qualifiers if necessary.

The qualifiers is most likely to happen on Saturday because Sunday's timing is rather tight for me. Let me know if there are any difficulties.

At the moment the wildcards are : Fender, Cookiemonsta, DrGoose, Alpha, Cwn, Sneak and illyst with just one more space left to make 8 wildcard players. (Chase u coming?)

You will notice each qualified participant is matched with a wildcard because each wildcard has to prove himself worthy :P
Matching of someone similar to your league level for round 1 is also intentional.

There is slightly more than 6 hours to the event so start strategizing

For those who followed the games our winner was mGGProbe and 1st runner up was CookieMonsta.

Thank you for all your participation. And even with removal of some apparently key units, we have seen that it is entirely possible to have strats out there to enable (almost) normal looking games.

I want to also thank Blackhawk for casting and all my volunteer referees who rose to the occasion : glazed, KWis, ilikepie, TidaL and Zephron. All your help is very much appreciated to help make a hectic start so much more manageable.

Also special mention to Paranormal and Stealth who also made it to the semi-finals and most of our GMs being so sporting to have gone random or off raced. Games between Alpha and Titan and later Titan and Cookiemonsta showcased that off races for GMs are still a force not to be underestimated.

Last but not least, I have reminded everyone that there would be a surprise for the winner. Unfortunately I think everyone thought I was just joking even though I said I was perfectly serious about it. Maybe next time believe Nem when she says there will be a surprise ok? :P
