Anyone have a clue about when we can start pre-ordering the collectors? Nirv, are you going to be offering the collectors through here? I want my shiny unit!

I didnt think you could even officialy pre-order any HoTS yet? (as in through blizzard)

Until blizzard announces a pre-order, which (usually) comes with a release date it wont really happen.

Also beta started 2 weeks ago, its a while off imo

just make sure u have at least $50 on ur preorder and tell them u want to upgrade as soon as collectors is available

I put $30 down and specifically told them i want a collectors edition for HoTS when i got WoL for my collectors edition, if i dont get it EB will hear it. They'll hear it man.

A lot of game stores offer pre-orders for big releases even before getting release date info from the actual developer. It's just a way to help guarantee sales, they take an educated guess at the RRP but even that could change because Blizz itself hasn't announced release date, cost etc

We won't be carrying HoTS collectors edition but we will be having digital purchases from our store for the standard version and an achievement badge to go with it to thank you for your support.

If you are pre-ordering at eb put $50 down on it, despite what they say. I used to work there, and on every bliz collectors that has come out, to get a unit allocated you needed $50 on it. Also you can pre-order legacy of the void at eb too. (You could pre order them pretty much from release day)

At my local EB games I've preordered HotS and got them to put a note on the pre-order to upgrade me to collectors when details come out about it.
