G'day guys, the day has finally arrived.

1.0.4 Patch Notes

So, is this enough to draw people back to the game? I don't know but it is certainly a step in the right direction.

You can find the full patch notes here. Be warned, there is like an hour of reading here.

If you prefer, I made a video summary highlighting the most important parts of the notes.

What do you guys think? I'm pretty keen on all of these changes and I think the paragon levels are awesome!

It's a good change to finally have something else to do, I got to act III inferno and grew tired of the gear grind (Barbarian), but it wasn't a -bad- game.
I am very interested in some of the changes, actually kinda cool the way that they've listened (or shat themselves into action, however you look at it).
I see some of Kripp's tips in the patch notes.

I'll play it a little, but not that much realistically. SC2 is just more interesting for me still.

I'm excited, but then I'd still be playing if I hadn't gotten so busy with moving house and stuff (and now having no internet at home for a bit).

Saw something about the paragon thing but haven't had time to look at it properly...

Anyone got an estimate of how much XP you get for a full Inferno clear? I suspect Act 3 Infero is probably the best place for farming Paragon Levels?

I do a mixture of Act 3 second heart (cydaea and azmodan) or Whimsyshire with a 25% XP gem (swapping occasionally on Elite kills with MF).

Stonefort, Keep Depths, Tower 2nd to Cydaea, and then to Azmodan.

From about level 10 onwards (i'm 13 now) it's 3 bars per clear.

This image tells you about the experience...and you could extend it to the time it will take to get the experience.

Depending the level of your party. My best run is just after Siege Breaker to Asmodan. I solo it and dying 10 times or group and not dying at all or very few.

Heya. I need the best route to farm EXP without compromising on Item Farming and without going to Act 3. What is the best and fastest route? Star Ruby already in Helm for 25% bonus EXP rate, and now Paragon Level 10.

According to the TL thread, full Act 3 runs are your best bet unfortunately. And it's expected to take approximately 666 (ha!) hours of farming to reach Paragon level 100.

I guess it's one way to extend the potential playtime of a game haha!

Sigh.... I keep dying in Act 3 leh. Can't go against Elites/Champs. Not worth it.

Maybe can help me see my Barbarian Config.

your life on hit is too low to be running a WW barb like that. and for a build that relies on Crit hits, your crit chance is rather low considering you don't have it on your rings/helm/bracers/gloves. crit dmg doesn't really shine unless you have a really good crit chance.

Which means I need to probably get another Axe which has Super High LOH, Crit Damage and a Socket...Dunno whether Axe weapon Mastery stacks....And more rings/Amulets with LOH/All Resist/Strength/vit/Crit Chance....

Time to break the bank again.

^^ tbh that was expected...but I was hoping they would not nerf it so much. It is extremely fun to use, and it promotes that "build diversity " thing they want so much. The skill itself is very nice,it gives you an option in close quarters when you cant kite, but with this you can ninja around a bit, and kill things.

Before the patch hit kripp was theorizing that it would take people 6 years to hit the level cap or something. There are already people at level 82 o.0. On the hardcore side, there is a guy who got to level 35..and died lol.
