Blizzard have pushed Patch 1.5.2 to the SEA Server this morning following their usual Tuesday patching schedule, this includes server downtime which is meant to be resolved by 1pm AEST. As always you will be unable to log in to the US server until the patch is applied to both servers which is scheduled to complete on Wednesday the 22nd August 2012 at 6am AEST.

StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty – Patch 1.5.2 Bug Fixes:
General
Pathing has been adjusted. Units will once again take the most optimal route to their destinations.
Variables.txt will now automatically recover from invalid combinations that could lead to performance issues.
Added additional information to the FPS Toggle.
Fixed a number of cases where hotkeys could not be bound in certain keyboard configurations.
Fixed a crash that could occur in custom maps when improperly destroying triggers.
Fixed a crash that could occur in custom maps when canceling building progress using triggers.
Fixed a number of crashes and de-syncing issues that could sometimes occur in Arcade games.
Mac
The functionality for the “Use command instead of control for hotkeys” option has been clarified:When Command as Control is checked, this enables command as control and disables command for right-click. When Command as Control is unchecked, this disables command as control and enables command for right-click.
MacOS hotkey commands are now working properly when StarCraft II is in focus.
I've noticed a lot of FPS issues lately for me, And my computer could handle extreme graphics before patch 1.5, now i can't play unless its set to low, and i noticed a few maps that have an issue with frame-rate when i hover over a part of it.
:/
Hope this patch fixes it!
Staggered patches are frustrating, I must admit. On the plus side, they do tend to make our respective servers more accessible given the patching times - as in, you don't have all servers being patched in SEA prime-time.
However, that's sort of negated when the one of the major ISPs in Aus limits you to NA only and most top-level SEA players play on KR anyway.
Workers would almost do a lap of the main building if you sent them out of your base, rather than go directly out.
Hard to explain, I think you can find a video on it if you search "workers 1.5 not fastest path" or something like that. Was on TL.
Unpatching 1.5.2 back to 1.5.1
It is highly recommended you backup your patched client first because although no MPQ editing is required any more, these are not refined steps. Standard disclaimers apply! It may stuff up your StarCraft II install. If you can, just wait until tomorrow for NA to be patched.
In the post 1.5 regime reversing a patch has become slightly safer (no MPQ editing). These steps are not refined by any means but more-or-less a "I got this to work" scheme. There are probably things which are unnecessary to do, but unless a major delay like the 1.4.2 -> 1.4.3 update happens again I won't refine these because the pain should ordinarily last less than a day.
Unless you are really super desperate to play on another server, I highly recommend you just wait it out until tomorrow.
Step 1. Delete a bunch of stuff
Open your StarCraft II folder and delete the Updates folder, any *.mfil and any *.tfil files. Open the Versions folder and delete the Base22612 folder.
Step 2. Restore the Support files
You will need for this step a MPQ editor to extract some files. I used the following one which is nice and simple - just extract and run. http://sfsrealm.hopto.org/cgi-bin/do...WinMPQ_VB6.zip
Open the StarCraft II\Mods\Core.SC2Mod\Base-Win.mpq file in your MPQ editor and copy these files out:
- Support\Battle.net.dll
- Support\BlizzardError.exe
- Support\PrePopulateCache.exe
- Support\SC2Editor.exe
- Support\SC2Switcher.exe
Note: They should replace the ones in the Support folder, so if you are using WinMPQ as I linked above you have to select and drag them out to your StarCraft II folder.
Step 3. Delete your agent.db file
Make sure no agent.exe processes are running. Delete the agent.db file located at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Battle.net\Agent\agent.db (on Windows XP) or C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent\agent.db (on Windows 7).
Step 4. Relocalise to NA (or other region) client
Change your client product region to enUS using a relocaliser. (Extract http://pit.xpaperclip.net/random/enUS.zip into your StarCraft II folder, or use one of the automated tools by lhr0909or R1CH It's broken, don't use R1CH's). Do NOT select SEA, we want the NA server.
That's it!
Running the client should now download the bits for 1.5.1 again and be playable on NA. If you region change back to SEA, it will then redownload 1.5.2.
These instructions are far less tested than the 1.4.3 -> 1.4.2 ones, so I may have missed a step or something. Forum PM me so I get an email if something goes wrong and I'll try to help. But again, unless you are really super desperate to play on another server, I highly recommend you just wait it out until tomorrow.

That's ... really odd. This happened when NA got a patch earlier than SEA but I don't think it should happen the other round, you should just get the invalid version error instead. What (original) region client was it and what server was it last connected to?
You can try the thing here, or a kind of cute solution I read on Battle.net forums which was to pull out your Internet before loading so it can't read the patch information and then region change in-game that way.

Couldn't find the folder but i just opened sc2 while disconnected from the net and it stayed open. Reconnected and was able to log into NA. Tried again with SEA but then it just closed and restarted like it has been doing.
Thanks for the help : ) looks like I'll just chill on NA till i get the patch on that server xD
