Hi All,

Im new to SC2, joined online about a week or so ago. Having watched hours of youtube videos i have got the basics down, i have a build, starting to learn what to look for when scouting etc, but I'm having a hard time putting it together, and as a result me league standing is bouncing all over the place.

So would any kind soul be willing to take me under their wing and coach? It would be MUCH appreciated!

The way you talk you don't really sound like you need coaching. Just play a few games, analyse your games, ask on here if you got any losses and can't figure out why and you can probably help yourself.

Also, get TGM before getting coaching. It's worth it, you'll learn heaps and you also get a free hour of coaching!

If you said this on TL they would lock and ban you loooool.

But yeah the best advice I can give is to ignore your rank and such, forgot winning and losing.

Just smash your builds out over and over, make small changes for what beats you(ie watch replay see what they went and figure out how you can scout that or how you should react in a small way).

Jump in the PRACBUD channel on sea and find some ppl to play against and talk with them about the games you play with them

Right now, I would suggest to simply work on 3 things;

1. Keep up your worker production.
2. Keep your money low.
3. Never get supply blocked.

Here is a very simple build you can use;

1 Rax FE

10 Depot
12 Rax
15 Orbital Command
16 Suppy Depot (Make sure to wall off your main ramp with your 2 depots and Rax)
18 Command Centre
Bunker @ front of Natural

From here you only need to build 4 things;

SCV's
Barracks
Marines
Supply Depots

Attack with all of your Marines @ 10 Minutes and rally your barracks to your opponents base to reinforce.

Do not build anything else and do not try to take a 3rd expansion.

This is what you should be trying to achieve;

- At least 50 workers by 10 minutes.
- Never getting supply blocked
- Keep your money low! To keep your money low, add more Barracks!
- Never missing army production cycles on your Barracks

Check your replays to check this^^^^^^^

There is 3 basic things here that you will learn and get into the habit of;

- Constant worker production.
- Constant Army production
- Constantly building supply depots, hence preventing yourself from getting supply blocked.

Doing this build alone can get you to Gold League. I think it can even get you to Platinum.

i can help but only to a gold standard, i started as terran and got into silver, stopped playing and took up zerg, im trying to offrace terran atm so we could practice together. Im no sea most of the time these days its Statix.501 if you want to add and get my 2cents at least

I'd follow what Bloodmyst said. That in my opinion is the best way to deal with being in low leagues.

I agree with what Bloodmyst has said. I started as a Bronze and was able to get to Platinum simply through constant worker and army production and minimizing supply blocks.
