Few more thoughts:

Can you please move the "Subscribed" and "New" icons to the end of the thread titles, rather than the beginning? This will improve alignment.

And perhaps right-align stuff in the right-hand nav-bar, whilst keeping the left side left-aligned. If none of this makes sense and I'll provide pic examples.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

1. Moved the news / mark all read buttons below news and made them smaller
2. Moved aftershock banner to top left of site and made it smaller
3. Resized sc2sea shop adverts and inserted it as a module in top right
4. Made PM text smaller
5. Made new and subscribed icons appear at the end of thread titles instead of infront
6. Improvement of header continuity
7. Repositioned theme switcher at top right of site
8. Tweaked chatbox layout

Basically lots of small stuff here and there!

Advertising Banners - Where would I put the google banners now? Do it like what TL does and Cynaide said?

Time Clock Colors - Have to make it fit the themes better.

Vertical Scrolling - The smallest reso's still have this. Finding the missing div tag is like finding needle in a haystack It might be because i used a modified dual column to display news in the center that had caused all the problems.

hey i noticed you adjusted the forum so that it will shrink or stretch to fit the monitor size, on my laptop i used to have to side scroll, now it fits properly, much better thanks : D

I like the avatars; and I think they should be kept. They associate with the site pretty nicely

Hey all, like that the adds have been moved (sorta anyway :P) and the colour buttons. I'm finding it hard to read with the small font though. 1920 res in Firefox. People say use the mousewheel, but:
1) it makes it look crap because it becomes all fuzzy (headache inducing)
2) it affects all tabs/windows, so I need constantly resize when switching between sc2sea and something else.

So I know (I think) that the smaller font is pretty much either liked or hated? Any chance of an option to choose the size for our own preference like with the colours? I find myself not reading threads any more cos it's too annoying to lean in and read the website.

Honestly I was with dox when he was saying put the 'new' tag on the right to help in alignment, but after seeing it I'm going to have to say please put it back

Turns out the 'new' stands out so much that having it out of alignment is more noticeable than having text out of alignment.

The good thing for me is that the site now fits on a square monitor (my 2nd monitor). Altho for some reason now the message box (that I am writing in now) overlaps with the right hand column meaning I can't click on those colour options on the right. :S

For some reason I do remember when I first came to the site I thought the banner was a little too "cartoonish" as you say and not as professional as it could be but I do agree the avatars are nice and is now part of the sites history.

Im sure this will split the community in trying to change it... good luck with this one. I for one like change, and a move to something more professional would probably do the site (and esports Aust) some good.

OK I have a suggestion regarding the streams.

In twitch there is an option to "pop out" the video (into its own window), this is so you can put it onto your second monitor on full screen and have the chat box open on you other monitor.

Currently sc2sea cant do this (or at least I can find it) so I literally go to twitch to watch the streams so I have this option. If sc2sea adopted an option like this it would negate the need to head off to another site to watch it.

Please look into this one as the only options are to watch the small windowed version with chat box or have it full screen with no visible chat box.

EDIT: If this is not possible... can we have the chat box pop out while it is in full screen etc.

The aliginment was getting really odd because of the prefixes, the ones without them + the new icon were making things super messy. PC suggested an aesthetically pleasing solution and that was to hard align the new buttons to the right of the cell and after implementing it I have to say it looks great!

Also implemented an astrix as the image instead as suggested by thegentleman and replaced the subscribed icon with something better. I think it looks a lot cleaner like this, as usual, feedback appreciated!

Update: I thought an arrow would be more intuitive for new users to the site so they know they can click on it to go to the last post. This new post icon is such a headache! 8 Versions so far



Current one is very rough by i like the idea of an arrow.

Idk, but for me it already does this when you go fullscreen... the fullscreen video window is owned by the flash player, not the browser (with firefox).
