With a fast base weapon (Sword, Dagger, Axe) it is insane. Play a bard with Frenzy and your life regen is nuts.

Even with 5% IAS or so you will still be at like 1.45 hits / second without frenzy.

~1200 HPS, again without frenzy. That's a pretty sweet weapon.

Yes those figures are very good but I feel that it lacks critical damage. 50% is a minimum if you're on the critical optimization path. If you have a socket you can put good crit on it, but for the price he is ready to pay, I wouldn't take a Weapon with less than 75% crit damage.

I feel Crit damage + crit chance combination is a compulsory aspect of the gear you equip.

But I'm reasoning like as a Wizard player, in fact I don't know barbs too much and they might need life recovery more than pure dps.

As a Wizard, I try to kill stuff before they have the chance to hit me too much. As Barb I guess you're going to be hit a lot no mater what.

I'm not in for DPS build, I'm aiming for Survivability and tanking Build.
Of course Additional Crit Damage bonus would be nice.

I still think you should just farm Act 1. If you have a good set with some MF and is able to switch on 50 of the elites and bosses, you will soon be geared well enough to beat act 2 without too much problem.

Since a few days I do a run Warden / Butcher then Nephalem wood then the zone just north of the Village then the 3 crypts of the chancellor. I have between 50 and 70% MJ as basic gear, peaking at 250% with Nephalem 5 and switching and I nearly have some new gear to improve what I have and / or 500k things (that I'm able to sell) every night (with one or 2 runs).

In a week I think I jumped from 29k to 39k dps and staying at 28k life (300 resist, 58% damage reduction by armor with Force Armor). I did it partially by improving to 25-30% chance damage and 126% Crit damage. I have 12% boot speed to. And I only bought once a item more than 300k (500k for my weapon witch is 748dps, 163 int, 49% crit damage and 2,5% life steal). With that I think I will be able to solo the act 3 (not farm, just finish it) now or soon.

I had 140m at one point, but every upgrade is so freaking expensive, goes upwards to 30-40m(Even more for weapon). Eventually i just gave up, bought some SS on GAH and sold them on the RMAH into paypal.
