The SEA region will have two qualifiers, with the top two of each qualifier advancing to play in the main event with the invites and other qualifiers.
The qualifiers will be held using Playhem, so I urge you to create an account there if you haven't already.

The first qualifier will be held on Friday, June 15 at 6pm KST (7pm Sydney, 5pm Singapore, 9pm Auckland) LINK
The second qualifier will be held on Thursday, June 21 at 6pm KST (7pm Sydney, 5pm Singapore, 9pm Auckland) LINK
The tournaments will be broadcast live, so if we wish to broadcast a specific match, the players will be expected to wait for the broadcast team. All matches will be Best of 3, with the grand final being Bo5 (played to determine seeding)
Sign up is only for people that currently live in the SEA region. There will be no Koreans, Taiwanese etc players allowed.

I logged into playhem at 8.40 NZT (20 minutes before the tourny starts) and attempted to load the check in page. It simply said "Please wait" I logged on to bnet and in the channel it seemed a lot of people were having issues with the playhem site, frequency recognised this and asked any players who were having issues to PM him, i did so straight away and said i could log in but couldnt check in, he didnt reply for ~10 minutes (by this point its about 8-10 minutes past tournament start date) and he said that its basically too bad, and that there is a 2nd qualifier.
Why was playhem used in the first place?
I hope you can udnerstand how frustrating it is to show up on time, do everything i can to get into the tournament, and then be told too bad you cant play. All in all a failure of a qualifier. I hope you never use playhem again

Playhem was chosen to help frequency admin the event during the US/EU qualifiers mostly.
I have already spoken to Playhem about what happened and advised them that if it ever happens again we wont be using them in the future, apparently the reason a few players were locked out of the event was a technical error on their end and the on call tech was MIA for whatever reason.
While I cant fix what happened in the past, I will make sure frequency keeps whoever was given the run around by playhem this time as a top priority for number 2. I will also provide people who had this happen with a replay pack of their choice from the FXO roster as an apology.
