Hi guys, im planning to get a mechanical keyboard and thus far im pretty much decided on the ducky9008G2 browns. But id like to know what keyboard do you guys use and what are your feedbacks about them!
ive used a lot of keyboards, the best ive had was filco majetouch 2 with browns. so so nice to type on amazing build quality. black widow is decent and easier to get in australia.
some of the others i've had are - razer marauder - razer black widow - q-senn dt45
There are about 5 Blackwidows in my circle of friends (because we're impatient and they're the only mechanical anyone seems to keep in stock around here). They're a reasonable keyboard overall, but we've run into a few little issues that make me hesitant to recommend them - sticky keys, keys that just stop working, my spacebar decided to fall apart etc.
Ymmv, but I'll be trying a different brand next time a buy a mechanical keyboard personally.
Blackwidow Ultimate (the one with backlighting).
I love it. I begs me to type on it. For the first week or so of using it, I felt giddy whilst typing on it because it feels so good. Using the keys in a starcraft game feels so decisive and natural, I love it.
Keep in mind, however, that the feeling comes from the switches. You'll find people who've used non-Razer keyboards will have a very similar experience.
I use the Das Keyboard Model S Ultimate. It is a bit more expensive than the blackwidows but it is a lot better made (I've used my brothers blackwidow and I couldn't stand it after using the das) and uses cherry mx blue.
I bought a Razer Black Widow Ultimate and it feels fine when I use it. I'd recommend it just for how it feels to use and the awesome loudness is cool lol.
But I've had to replace it three times due to the lights dying. I think when I need to buy my next keyboard I'll get a similar keyboard to this but definitely not Razer.
I use a Tenkeyless Leopold Otaku Edition (which means nothing printed on the keys, letters are for noobs) with brown switches. It's essentially the same as a Filco (designed by the same people iirc). Shit's cash.
I use a Filco Majestouch Tenkeyless with MX Blue keys. It's absolutely superb, and they also offer boards with Brown, Black and Red switches as well. Although the Leopolds have very similar build quality and are usually around $40+ cheaper so I would certainly recommend one of them if you're wanting to save some $$.

do you mean QSENN DT35? is that keyboard really value for money? its like $40. after coming across it, im now stuck between that and the duckys which cost $120!! thats $80
hmmm, for the qsenn,to be honest with u, its overpriced in my opinon. its just famous because progamers use it. i was one of the few people who bought it because i thought it was a awesome keyboard. but keep in mind, a qsenn is not a mechanical keyboard though. i am not sure bout the ducky though.
if i was in your position, i would still get a qsenn. 3 qsenn for a ducky, i believe 3 qsenn will outlast a ducky.

my qsenn was about 20 i think. I got 2 and mixed the keys so its a nice black and white checkboard. sadly i dont use it anymore, but it is a nice keyboard, esp for the price. MVP still pwns everyone with this one.

I use the Tt eSPORTS MEKA G1
There should be plenty in stock around Brisbane Rythos, try ITS Direct in QLD or just purchase online.
