In BW there was barely enough players to field a lineup when we had to combine states (VIC/TAS, QLD/NT etc.) so it's good to see states having too many players that they don't want a merger! :P

I suggest one like ASiT play team each in 2 formats "Championship format" and "All-Kill" format
I can't speak for del on this, but in BW it was 4xbo3 and an ace match if it was 2-2. With the amount of players available I'm assuming this will still be the format just with more matches (maybe 6xbo3 and ace if needed) or something along those lines depending on player numbers.

I would like to do a double round robin but I don't want it to go on too long. If we keep the playoffs, which are the exciting part and will likely involve all teams, limiting it to playing each other once is probably preferred. Will see when I get a schedule though
And regarding format we probably could go to 6 x Bo3 but to limit the huge advantage teams like NSW or even QLD will show by having such a deep lineup we will probably keep 4 games + ace. This keeps all of the teams within reach of either the minor or major title!

I think a change of name should be in order... the state of origin is originally between two states fighting over who had the game first.... I think this is forming more into a leauge and should probably be called something like the National Starcraft League or State Starcraft League... something that shows its more of a contest.. Kinda like the Rugby, Soccer and AFL.
