As mentioned this won't be opened to international teams because of historical and thematic reasons, but likewise it's not going to be a regular event. It's a bit of a one-off or special event and not a long series so the SEA and NZ guys aren't missing out on too much. They could even be inspired to start their own - I know Malaysia and Singapore have a bit of a rivalry I am sure there's something there that could be started!

Oh yeah that's something I forgot to mention - if your state isn't represented because of a lack of competitiveness I will allow you to join the B-Team and I am sure there's room in the BSG / PD teams! There's a bit of extra room to add a team or two in the B-Team competition because there's no playoffs.

I did have the 'born' rule in place in the BW SoO but it's really hard to police and open to people abusing so they can play in a team with their friends. I will probably allow it on a special case-to-case basis if you come to me and ask specifically why you want to, etc.

While technically I think many of us see NZ as another Australian state, I defined state in this case by how fruity the accent is. NZ just missed out on the cut.
