Tt eSPORTS Twitch.tv Channel - Going into overdrive!
Hey all,
Streaming worldwide is massive at the moment, people like Destiny from SC2 make a living from it and all large tournaments are now streamed online. But, you barely see anything in poor old Aus/NZ.
To try and rectify this, I had an idea. Why not use the resources available to me to promote streaming within Australasia? So that's what I'm doing.
We started off with a Monday night Tt Underdog Show match in SC2, then started running a Bi-Weekly eSports show on different topics every second Thursday, but I decided to up the ante and get it cranking.
The Saturday show is not finalised yet, so if anyone from the community is willing to commit to 4 Saturday shows in a row, please PM me with your idea and we can look at facilitating this!
Below you can find what we are looking to stream, on what days, which game and who is running it.
Monday
Tt Underdog Challenge (SC2) – Derek ‘Dox’ Reball (9pm)
Starting at 9PM each Monday, upcoming and unknown members from the SC2 community get a chance to take on the best SC2 players to prove their worth in front of an audience. We chose the competitor and if they win, they get a free Challenger Keyboard or ISURUS In-Ear headset. (This is shoutcasted)
Tuesday
Tuesday night team games (SC2) – Derek ‘Dox’ Reball (9pm)
The poor old team format of SC2 is commonly shoved out of the lime light. Dox will be shoutcasting some fun 2v2 matches between good and.. not-so-good players of the SC2 SEA community.
Wednesday
SQL.LoL show matches (LoL) – SQL LoL team (8pm)
Sequentials LoL team have proven themselves to now be the best team in Aus/NZ. They will be streaming live matches against other top Australian and North American teams. Want to know how the best play ingame from their eyes? Check this one out.
Every 2nd Thursday
Bi-Weekly eSports show (All games) – Chris 'Mayo' Smith and David 'Triumph' Rutter (8:30pm)
Due to the lack of easily accessable eSports information in Australia, we have decided to roll it all into one show. Each week encompasses general Aus/NZ eSports topics (new tournaments, events, competition results, new teams etc) and then focuses on one general topic, a competitive game.
The first episode saw Mindfreak eSports' 'DluX' join us for a chat about BF3 and how they are preparing for the competition, there will be plenty more video's and lol's to come!
Every other Thursday
SQL.HoN matches (HoN) – Matt ‘Minortotemzz’ Brimson (8pm)
A new edition to the Sequential roster, the HoN team have shown a passion for helping out the community and streaming. They will also be streaming POV HoN games against other top teams with some funny commentating to be thrown in also.
Friday
SQL.SC2 Practice session (SC2) – Phil ‘inFeZa’ Bertino (8:30pm)
Ever wanted to know how the top level SC2 players Practice? How do they learn to produce SCV's whilst harassing an enemy's base? How do they know when to expand to boost their economy?
Well, these questions can be answered by watching the stream. The SQL SC2 guys will show you how they hone their skills and get ready for the next big tournaments whilst answering your questions in the stream chat.
Saturday
Saturday Show Day (All games) - Different hosts each week
This is something that is in production, as I mentioned above, if anyone is keen to take this slot of the next 4 weeks, please PM me your idea. (Please be prepared to have all information present and be ready to run the show yourself).
The general idea for the Show day is to run a different game's show match each week, where we shout cast 2 top Australian/NZ teams battling it out against each other.
Sunday
Sunday Night CS:S (CS:S) – Avant Garde
In light of my previous 'strat night' thread on GotGames, Avant Garde have kindly stepped in to fill the gap until something is Solidified. They will be running a show like Sequential's SC2 idea. They will be showcasing how a high level Counter Strike: Source team hones their teamwork and strategy live on air in one of their 'prac sessions'.
When each show commences, the respective show leaders will take care of the promotion and updates of their show. So please keep checking your major forums for updates. I have listed the most likely portals below and for what game.
