After being a sponsor for online events through out 2013, Arabon is glad to announce they will be holding their first LAN tournament.

It is important to note this is the first LAN being held at their offices. So a reduced entrance fee will be used and we ask for lenience with any issues that arise. There are plans for more LANs to come and we hope to build on experience to create a smooth streamlined tournament that every one can enjoy in the future.

When:
Sunday the 22nd of December.
Doors open: 9:45
Sign up at: 10:15
Start time: 10:30

(remember it is better to arrive early rather then late.)

Where:
Arabon Offices
655 Sherwood Rd
Level 1

(Right next to the NAB Branch. Sherwood Train station 2-5 minute walk away.)

Entrance fee:
$5

Format:
If 16 player bracket, then the format will be a Double Elimination with Bo3's brackets.
If 32 player bracket, then the format will be a Double Elimination with Bo3's in upper bracket and Bo1's in lower bracket until Ro4.

These formats will be used to keep the tournament running at a quick pace due to the low number of computers.

Map Pool:
Current Season Map Pool.
Veto system will be used to choose which maps are played on.

Computers:
We are looking at playing on 8-10 Computers. 4 of these computers will be provided. We ask if any one is willing to provide their computer for the day to please message either me or Domo here on sc2sea or on skype.

Screens will be provided.
All players to bring their own Keyboards, Mouses, Earphones and Mouse pads.


Prizes:
Prize pool: $50 + Entrance fee (may be more to come)
Prize Split: 1st 60% 2nd 30% 3rd 10%

Tournament Admin on the day will be Domo. If any one else is willing to volunteer some time to help this will be much appreciated.

A Projector shall be set up to watch some of the games.

Spectating will be free. So if you have any friends who are interested but don't want to play feel free to invite them to come along.

Once again I would like to note that this is a trial run for this tournament. If successful then there shall be some more in the future.
