Conclusion
My conclusion is that myfriend was definitly not Maphacking. In those 2 replays, nothing was really suspicious. He used the information he had and reacted accordingly.
There are numerous proofs he was not knowing was you were doing and making moves to be safe where there was no threat or being often surprised by your warp prism, dt's, army position.
Watch my video to understand my conclusion.
You were right anyway to submit the replays if you had doubts. It's our job to help you make the difference.
Cheers !
I've played numerous terrans, and his scouting was really little, yet his timing is very on the point. Tat taldarium altar match, I had to play REALLY safe and his attack was very on the point. You pointed out that he didnt spot many warp prism plays but do realise, he does not move his screen over to the place where my units are in order to prevent obvious maphack, so he's just relying on minimap. For this, he might miss those little things and he only need to notice the planting of the nexus and movement of the opponent's army( both big spots on the minimap.) Moreover, please look at his win rates, vs toss its really high and he beat many good toss players, but not even once had he won vs a high level terran or zerg. I am not saying he maphacks because of this, but since i have played him, I realise the timing and positioning of his army is really really good, the overall feel is just very different as compared to playing a normal terran player. Oh and remember the 2 immortal in the warp prism at the first map, he didnt scout at all before that, and he didnt move his units out a bit, but just nice when the warp prism is moving to his base, he walks to his 3rd and kills the prism. Anyways, its ok if u dont feel that he maphacks, but can more protoss that plays him post replays up?
