I've begun contacting the players who will be selecting their groups. It'll go down like this:

• The bottom 4 (16, 15, 14, 13) have been placed in separate groups.
• The top seed (1) will determine where the 12th person will go.
• The last seed (11) will pick his own group.
• 10th, 9th and 8th will do the same.
• We continue up the list until everyone (7-1) has been slotted.
• Even though 16th hasn't been established yet, they have already been allocated a group. Be careful!

Oops, I meant to write "ACL", not "GSL", haha. Awkward. Reading a thread about GSL whilst writing a post about ACL = bad.

Here's a hypothetical scenario:

HuT 1-2 kez
yang 2-1 EdgE

kez 1-2 yang
HuT 0-2 EdgE

HuT 2-1 yang
kez 2-1 EdgE

In the above example, both kez & yang are tied 2-1 on matches (and 5-4 on map score), but since yang beat kez 2-1, he's awarded the 16th slot.
