A short introduction:
Many people spend their whole life seeking perfection. Some never find it. Ice just does it. If you are looking for someone to teach you how to play Starcraft 2 like a true pro, ice is the one you are looking for. After all, why should you bother learning how to play, when instead, you can learn how to own? Once a DotA player, ice dominated the Singaporean, Asian, and Global scene when he felt like it, and won many tournaments, the more notable ones being ESWC Paris and CAPL, amongst many others. After getting bored, he decided that he had tormented fellow progamers in the DotA scene quite enough, and switched over to Starcraft 2, where he soon gained recognition for placing 2nd in the Blizzard SEA Invitational, securing him a place in Blizzcon. However, fate was not kind to this aspiring young gamer. To cut the story short, his enlistment meant an extremely limited amount of time for himself, much less for gaming competitively. However, ice is back, and just 1 week after starting practice, has managed to get 2nd place in a Starcraft 2 tournament sponsored by Nvidia. Now, here is your chance to have this legend as your teacher.
For more details, please send ice a pm on the sc2sea/teamliquid forums. Rates at this moment are still subject to discussion, and will be confirmed later.
Note: ice only teaches zerg.

he's one interesting fella. if u ever meet him on ladder, try cheesing. its amusing how he wants to put you on the cheese list, compiled and posted on forums---i wish he would link it.
in my free time, i'm interested in getting a small amount of coaching to hit master league. basically i just need a coach to tell me in real-time what to do during a game against opponents(preferably ladder rather than custom since some people will suddenly leave customs midway, wasting time), for a few hours. when to spread creep, when to suicide lords, upgrade ling speed, roach warrens etc.
i think using voice comms+screen stream would be good so the coach can give tips in-game(best way to learn and remember)
i play zerg. without cheese, i'm just mid-diamond level(no masters, no plat opponents).
when i cheese(offensive hatch, stealth hatch, 6 pool, spining) i get to high diamond and play master leaguers but don't promote because i lose to lower level fellas too---thats the nature of cheese!
its much harder to cheese these days since the new maps are out so i guess i'll be playing standard now.
my dexterity is decent but not fantastic---around 90-100 apm average nonspam in a long game.
willing to pay. not sure whats reasonable---sgd 50 over 3-5hrs perhaps
would any high level zerg with experience be keen to give pointers?

thats retarded. Improving is about making sure you understand all the little nitty gritty details of the game and knowing when, and how to abuse ur advantages, and obviously having good mechanics. Letting someone tell you how to play is the complete opposite of becoming good, no one way of playing is the best and everyone will have ways to do things uniquely. You may as well pay for an Idra replay if all you are going to do is let him tell you what to do.
Btw, for any P interested in coaching I'd strongly recommend TA's Pinder, amazingly good teaching qualities(which is something completely different to being good at sc) and a ridiculously cheap price compared to some in the US + he's just a cool guy whos very easy get along with.
what i figure is that by having someone to remind in-game for sometime, i should be able to remember to do such stuff in future. like to transfer drones, upgrade roach speed, scout etc.
at least thats how i learn better, by practice. others may be able to do everything just with a coach going by their replays and improving but i'm not exactly a fast learner and tend to forget.

Only person I've had to ban from my tournaments (although after a 6 month ban, going to let him try again).
He was once banned from the B.net forums. The same day he came back, he was banned again.

Not to sound mean or anything, but how does Tennis work in with Starcraft?
Coaching skillset and a player skillset are two completely different things, most pro athletes cant coach to save themselves if they needed to, same way the best coaches in the world are usually bad/average players at best

A lot of the fundamental skills used in coaching are the same; analysis of forms, skills, ability to create regimes, achievable goals, etc. If you can't see the parralels, fair enough; I'm not too worried. I know, as do many others, that alot of coaching skills are transferrable between sports.
