I'm just a beginner so I wonder something. This morning I got a game with a terran player who is in higher level than me ( I looked at his avatar). I thought it's hard to beat him so I use banshee to harass him very early. I supprised that he has no way to stop my banshee and I killed almost of his SCVs. And he began to talk some bad thing with me during the game. When I finish his base, he said that just a noob like me try to use such a dirty move to defeat him and I was lucky because he didn't even finish building his army. So is it a good strategy or a dirty move and should I use that strategy in my game. I really don't want to make anyone upset when they play with me

Depends on how many starports u made, the more starports the more dirty. 3 starports is very very very dity.

Using banshee every now and again is fine because its just an effective harrass if your opponents not prepared but dont make the mistake of overdoing it. If you use it in moderation perhaps against people you think you will have trouble with thats fine. But if your using it every game you will get accustomed to it and then people will really rage.

Actually I just practised it a few days and I have never used it with people who I think in the same level or worse than me. And some other guys did it with me before.

People will call you a noob for plenty of things, mostly when you're winning, so just don't listen to them and do whatever makes you win ( I might not say that if you were a protoss or zerg player :P)

Who cares what people think, its a game. I hate it when i don;t scout it as a zerg, but hey its all part of the game whether they are as good worse or better than you. If it is part of early harrass and its 1 or 2 banshees that is strategy. Let the other player deal with it.

The thing is it's also funny when people rage at cheese, unless your the one raging, which is usually me...But if you do it to a phsychopath he will track you down with a chainsaw and a machete, so cheese at your own risk

The thing about starcraft (specifically 1v1) is that if you loose, there's only one person to blame (unless you're a tipity top level player).

You beat him, he lost. It's the point of the game. A win is always deserved.
