Hi I was wondering if anyone in the sc2sea community makes plushies.starcraft 2 style..
I have no handy skills in that area but am looking for a hobby like model making.. I don't think i would keep things i made..
SO the list at the minute -
* learn to make star wars models..
*OR learn to design and make plushies.. BUT i don't have the equipment or know how..
If someone has these skillz I would be interested in knowing - how did you learn?
Google gave me some general ideas when I looked a couple of months back.
I am after some information from people who do it..
Someone to hold my hand and show me through.... Gently..
Out of curiosity, have you considered Warhammer/40k/LoTR miniatures?
I personally do, very very casually, LoTR miniatures. It is pretty therapeutic. I don't do them to play the games or whatever, just to muck about and paint them.
I've been making stuff lately...my best friend showed me a little bit of how to make plushies and such. I was thinking of making starcraft related ones but the problem is designing them is very difficult. Putting together a plushie is actually the easiest thing ever.
As for how did I learn...my friend showed me a couple of the books she learnt from and good old google always has some helpful tutorials and whatnot as well. I'd suggest trying to make something really simple like a teddy bear if you'd like to learn. After you make your first plushie you get a really good grip on how it all works out. The internet has plenty of free patterns about too!
I really wish we could get a probe plushie or a stalker plushie like MC got. That would be something awesome to add the the sc2sea store! NIRVANA WE NEED YOU!

All mine are sitting in the garage!
I have a decent Dark Angels force in cases.. I loved playing it but couldn't paint to save myself.. good thing the missus was happy to do them up !
