The Sharn Kemp Premier league got off to a blazing start on Monday, with the season opener between aLt and Xeria gaming coming down to the wire. After a series of intense games - including a ridiculous Ninja come back and the first ever SEAL draw game between nirvAnA and light (which had to be replayed) the scores were tied at 2-2. An interesting note: Light and nirvAnA both picked the Non Toss favoring map - Shattered Temple to avoid getting PvP but that backfired and they got each other lol. The stars of their teams and long time competitive adversaries Mafia and PiG were left to play the deciding Ace match. After two games it came down to the rubber match, with Mafia taking the win and bringing victory to Xeria gaming in a very closely fought series!
The next match was between iTA TA and Herocraft. yaaaaaaaaang beat cobo and it was a important victory for yang IMO as I feel these two players are the top two "SEA-residing" protoss players at the moment, and this win cemented his status at the top. EdgE showed that his Adelaide house was a better training ground then the GSL house and Risen and Sensei both earned what some might say are "surprise" victories, and emerged as important players for their teams. The final match between Rossi and GLaDe will be played after ACL and is the only match postponed this week.
ToT vs was interesting as both these teams were included in Tier 1 at the last minute and many people were wondering how they would perform. Among the more notable matches - ToT Star jerry beat the very underrated techtron and Yekke who had been in superb form from training on KR/NA lost to ForJJ. The Ace of Eve, party hat Strafe showed having to play his "worse matchup" TvP ain't no thang and "there is only one templars of twilight" and took a 2-1 victory, forcing a draw.
inFi emerged as strong title favorites (I've been saying this all this while!! Only Frogmite seemd to believe me but hes their Manager so that doesn't count!) by taking down SPR 6-0! Certainly not a result many people saw coming. Revenant earnt a key victory over Soulman showing that inFi is probably one of the few teams with "3 true Aces" along with TargA and iceiceice. Roz again showed off his amazing PvT against Sooie (he all killed the terran team in the Race Wars last year) and GGMuse completed SEAPL's first flawless victory.
Lastly, Mski took on MiTH. After being tied at 2-2, this was the third match this week that came down to the final ace match!! Azz aka the best player in a 500 mile radius around Elysium Cafe (Who just surprised many by finishing top #4 in last weeks Masters Cup) proved yet again he can walk the talk, he just can't win SEAFights lol. Despite working full-time now, he took down one of the strongest TvP players on SEA, RedArchon in the ace Match and earnt an importing victory for his team, proving to be an extremely valuable signing when everyone else was laughing at him, (including me lol!). Go Azz!
Many unexpected results, and many many close matches. Week 1 was a fantastic success and we are looking forward to many more of these matches in the weeks to come!! Thanks to Benji, Zepph, PiG, Zergtastic & Dox for casting the games and the admins Froggy and DeNile who made it all so easy for us.

Fun fact: Every single SEABet prediction was right this week.
The opening match for Championship League B saw the Chinese powerhouse Trick or Treat facing off against heavy underdogs Winter Nights Gaming. On paper, it almost seemed like a clean sweep for ToT, boasting a lineup including three Grandmaster and two Master players versus the four Master and one Diamond from WNG. However, with lzq and Digby from WNG taking down their opponents in somewhat of an upset, the series found itself coming down to the Ace Match, in which ToT's Doctor proved to be too much for Petraeus.
ToR wasted no time getting started this season, with Fur, Kringe and Superman racing through their opponents from Crux (Bsk, Tc and Tempest, respectively). [b]Beast[b] took the fourth set for Crux, before Shoodyo ultimately fell to Trusty in the Ace.
Nerve proved to be too much for the relatively unknown HDMD-kT. Casting extraordinaire Flamga took the first set 2-1 over Evilbox, with Grim quickly following suit, giving nRv a quick 2-0 lead.PolkaDodge managed to get the next point for HDMD-kT. With nRv's PeekABoo winning the next game, HDMD-kT found themselves in a situation in which they could tie up the series by taking the Ace match. Unfortunately for them however, MajinBuu had to be walked over, leaving the final scores 5-1 in nRv's favor.
In another series that came down to the Ace Match, New Zealand's finest, Iris, managed to edge out Clan Fade's representatives in this division. With three of the sets going 2-1, Fade managed to put up a very respectable fight against one of the division favorites, and you can be sure that next week, they'll be looking for blood.
In the last match of the week, division favorites Ascension Gaming proved their dominance, making relatively quick work of Cube, who are no pushover by any means. Nadir, Dox and Chobo all won their sets 2-0, with Dione the only player from Cube able to bring home a win.
The number of draws could suggest a tightly contested league. However with a number of strong showings from the new kids in town, the old crew could find it hard to play catch up.
High school buddies KFC wasted no time showing their intentions, taking out last PDCL's semi finalist clan VB. Despite VB putting forward what I would assume to be a weaker line-up, their ace VBRhuubarb held his ground, taking another nerd soul into the depths of his gaze.
Last PDCL's winner AsG were tournament favourites, despite a few of their star players moving up to the next tier. However our new Chinese overlords ToT came out with all guns blazing, convincingly taking out defending champions AsG, and showing themselves to be strong title contenders.
With last PDCL's runners up FaDe splitting into two teams for this season, deL expected FaDe 1(SM) to be strong contenders, hosting a number of strong players from their roster last year. However new comers HDMD-kT put up a strong resistence, holding the runners up to a 3-3 draw.
The Spirit of deL seems to be strong with his fellow Tassies (not that anyone else in the world cares, especially The Man Your Man Could Smell Like ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDMKrtOncRE) as SCT held ToR to a 3-3 draw, although unfortunately with a walkover assist.
mOOnGlaDe's influence reaches down even into the depths of humble League 1, as the lovable band of mercenaries Zerocraft took the fight to FaDe 2(PG). One big suprise to this match was Zerocraft manager suman taking out Audacity 2-0, hats off to you my friend.
In a battle of new comers, Imperium, under the leadership of OptimusPrime, were able to transform and roll over Naz Gaming. Despite the Ace match going to Naz, they were unable to overcome the dominance of Imperium in the other matches.
Two of sc2sea's house clans fought in a contested match up. TCP, fuelled by the fact that iRL poached two of their players T_T, looked to start season running. However iRL were able to hold their ground, taking the Ace match, resulting in a 3-3 draw that I thoroughly enjoyed. (a bit biased but :P)
With eXo unfortunately pulling out because of time difficulties, it was up to eXofG to show SEA what their clan is made of. However it was a tough ask as they were up against the powerhouse TA. With the series coming down to the Ace match, TADivinity was able to overcome xfGBASA and give TA the victory.
And that wraps up the first week! An incredible amount of matches - over 250 - have been played over 5 leagues in the first week alone! Our SEAPD (Estimated completion date: 1 week+) is going to be STACKED with data lol.
Thank you to all the individual league admins who have been working their asses off to bring you this! They entered all these results, and have put in alot of effort into this and are the reason why this season has got off to such a fantastic start. Special mention to the Tier 4 admins deL and Lemminks who have 16 teams between them!! Week 1 was amazing and this can only get better with each week!

"Smurfing" / "Stream cheating" drama? lol,I think some one might be misleaded by a post from teamliquid, it says hotlips is a pro WC3 player in chinese team, yes, there is a 'hotlips' who is a manager of pro WC3 team, but he is German actually.
Hotlips from ToT is just a international student in melbourne, I believe most mel player met him in lan game before.
Btw, cjc (former name 'neiku') used to be a pro WC3 player.
About stream cheating, its a huge accusation, plz point out which game u suspect. Its ridiculous

Yo, actually it was not really "stream cheating" issue but more that some external casters had been added to the game, without letting the admins knowing about it. I always post in the game to ask for casters as we need to know who is connecting to the games. MiTH sent me their stream link and authorized them to stream their games for week 1.
We removed the cheating accusation from the OP because as you said, stream cheating accusation is serious matter and it's not the case we're facing. It was a mistake from the admins to post this. Sincere apologies.
I would like to highlight that both teams must agree to add external players to their games (if not sc2sea caster).
If you want to discuss about the matter, feel free to PM me.
