All good, Maynarde! I know what its like setting up new leagues - I had plenty of nightmares with Quake 3 leagues for OZTF, AusRA3 and OQCL back in the day. It does come down to a bit of trial and error, but in the end it will shape season 3 as the best season with these bugs ironed out.

TAEdarus (owait, thats me!) now has a house and as of Saturday will be living in it.

Inco's classified as a player as that was his rank when this BSGCL started. He ranked up to only after Season 4, so under the rules he's still classified as .

you could have played two games then?... you did show.. just not a full roster.
you should have played to try for at least a win or two.. 4-2 loss is better than 4-0 loss..

I think the admins should have instructed you to do this - rather than just give away an easy walk over...
Did you try to reschedule the games? The rules state that a walk over can be given.. but both captains can agree to a delay or reschedule if they can both agree and find a time that suits both... its only if no one shows up and nothing can be agreed does the other team have the option of Walk Over..

imo you guys should try and reschedule the match - this is a casual and friendly league... its not all about winning but improving in the game and having fun.. no one really enjoy's free walk over wins...

but that is between QED and bTd...

In regards to the QED v BtD match up, I DID actually ask them to play their games (I think only Krrn was on at the time for QED) but BtD wanted to take the walkover. As you say, it's between them and BtD has that right. A shame, but that's the way it went down.

I'll ask Frogmite to add CongressTart and update subs as he is the thread owner still.

Yeah it's basically up to them. If they want to re-match or whatever. If there were no arrangements between the two teams to move the game timing, then they have to play at the time decided by the admin.

And yeah i added him, BtD that was your last sub for the whole season.

Yeah - fair enough.. it is between the captains.
BUT Krrn turned up.. he is silver - and could have all killed... or at least made it 4-1 or 4-2... I think walk over shouldn't even be an option until there are no more players available (if any showed up at all)...
thats just my opinion.. and I understand that everyone wants to avoid no shows thus there are harsh penalties... But why not try and reschedule?...

I'll get in touch with them and ask again mate, I did ask last night if they wanted to reschedule. I was talking to SirChristoff who was talking on behalf of Gunslinger (who can't accept messages from anyone from friends and is representing BtD atm) and he said they were pretty irate and just wanted to talk the walk over.

At the moment if you don't have a minimum team size of 4 then you can't play but the rules will be revised in Season 3 to be a little more air-tight. This is only the second Season and even though there's been a bit of drama this season, last season had WAYYY more walkovers, it was insane. In a perfect league, there will never be a single walkover. That is my dream.

So again, I'll try contacting again but as the magic 8 ball says; "Outlook grim."

If the captains/admins work out a reschedule or something else cool, if not I personally am fine with the walk over. People didn't turn up for us and BtD gave us till 9pm for people to show. Pretty nice of SirChristoff to do that imo.
Think we've got to get a more consistent team for next season. Half of our team hasn't logged on since the start of the season. So when 3 out of the 5 that have been on don't/can't turn up on short notice, Cottonmouth gets to hear how annoyed I am on Vent heh.
