Hi guys

I have been playing SC2 since the launch and I am platinum atm. But lately I am having trouble on what race to stay with. I like playing both Z and T, its just i dont know which race should i choose. My clan mates said that my Z is pretty good but i somehow cant feel the fun of playing Z. On the other hand, my T is worse but i like playing it so much, those marines splitting, drops, harrass, its so fun ! :P

I need help guys, please post some suggestions on what should i play.

In my honest opinion, play whichever race you feel suits you and you have the most fun with. You pretty much answered your question with your first paragraph; you have the most fun playing Terran so maybe main-race as Terran.

Don't base your race off other people's opinions, as they vary from one person to the next; like I mentioned above - pick the race you have the most fun with and don't let anything hold you back! Your Terran may be "bad" now, but in 2 months time of playing Terran - I'm sure you'll have improved a tonne (even more so if you subscribe to TGM).

Play the race this is fun mate. If that's T for you then go for it!

SC2 is a game. Games are supposed to be fun, do whatever you feel is right. Eventually when you stick with the race you enjoy you'll find you improve quickly as well, because you're just plain enjoying yourself lol.

Pretty soon you'll be better at T than Z in no time

Also there's lots of resources (and coaches) here on SC2SEA to give you an extra push in the leet direction.

Do what you like man, go terran. Eventually, you're zerg macro will kick into your terran play and you'll be boss!

On a side note, mechanical players tend to like zerg because they can just out produce the opponent, whereas terran is much more a positional race. From what it sounds like, your positioning isn't as good (because you haven't had enough experience with terran in whatever situation) and therefore your terran doesn't seem as good. But that will improve with time and map analysis.

Then again, I'm only bronze! lulz what the hell am i talking about... (i watch too many VODs...)

Terran. Terran is a man's race. Are you a man? Do you read Saxton Hale and think "This. This is what I shall become some day". Do you find regular shaving blasphemous? Then Terran is the race for you.

Terran is about man things, like not taking shit and massive firepower. The general way to play Terran is to hit the other guy, or to make him fear the fact you're going to beat the shit out of him so you can mindgame him. If you want to play a race based around cowardice for 90% of the game then actually being good for 10%, then go play Zerg.

Terran is a mans race. Be you a man?

Terran has the most female units in the game (Medivac and Banshee), followed by Zerg (Queen). Protoss has 0. Does this mean Protoss is full man?

Playing the race is fun works, but like me, i played the race (from terran) that i thought was fun, which was zerg. And I got demoted from diamond LOL! so yeah. In the end i found the fun in terran switched back and now im doing ok

In the end SC2 is a game, albeit a competetive one, but it's still a game. Games are meant to be fun, so if

is what's fun for you then grab your C-14 canister rifle and go shoot yourself some Zerglings.
