Each ticket that was ordered is attached to an e-mail address and a name. I suspect people who intend on doing something like this will have used the same e-mail address for all their orders, so it's very unlikely they'll get away with it.

I don't think you appreciate that I'm in the same boat here. I never checked up on the standing room because I put more urgency on the U18 issue. So it's news to me as well.

I'm just disappointed because coming from ACLDox I assumed this was official, confirmed information and you just needed to look up the numbers you didn't have on you.

When the ticket gets presented at the door what happens? Do they check peoples ID's to make sure the name is correct and the same as the ticket?

sure, there are no more tickets - why do you get constructive about it?.. perhaps another room could be hired at the ATP for a big screen and extra seating - so you can watch from the venue... perhaps a door charge should be in place (to both main venue and standing room venue) to cover this cost...? or go set up a barcraft nearby.

Ehhh.. you make me sad some times SEA.. :'(

EDIT: I didn't get tickets, I've already spoken to Vanz a few days ago about helping out - so if that gets me in then great - otherwise I'll enjoy a weekend in Sydney and help organise a barcraft - but I'm not making any negative shit about missing out.. that doesn't help.. Instead I'll help out or try and do something constructive so I don't miss out.

Im just going to say one last thing before I'm out of this thread as life is to short to read this stuff and it makes me feel way to drained. When something happens not to your liking, please show respect in how you approach constructive criticism, and that once you have voiced your opinion, let that be it. Now, a lot of people have voiced their opinion respectively, but then once the admins have tried to answer your questions/calms/fears/anger don't keep retorting with other things he said/she said. The amount of time/work/effort the ACL guys put into things is astonishing, they don't get paid for it, and they do it out of the goodness of their hearts. Venue only has room for 300? So ******* what, make sure you're one of the 300. This rant is a lil misguided, this thread is actually relatively tame I spose, but I've seen this kinda shit in e-sports for the last 6 years and people need to stop qqing so much once something doesn't go 100% as they expected.

Express entry over GA standing room only I can understand, but that isn't happening. I also understand that there was some miscommunication and assumptions made along the way, but this is written on your website which leaves me even more confused.

I doubt any of us want to boycott WCS, I guess you can say and expect that we will most likely be annoyed if we didnt get a ticket to this event. Its going to be awesome! I am sure that something will get sorted regardless, and yes Mayo a Barcraft will also be awesome .

I guess after today when we all have had time to de-stress we can work on a solution.
