I am happy I could help the people I did, it was fun and enjoyable, and now I will focus my time back on practice for myself. I will resurrect this thread if I am opening coaching again soon.
Hello all!
Many of you don't know me, but I'm TTneKo of nRv gaming, I'm a mid Grandmaster Zerg on SEA currently practicing on the Korean server, and I'm here to say I'm finally making an effort.
What do I mean by making an effort? Giving back to Sc2SEA and finally trying prove that I'm worth something to the community.
Back before New Years I had this big plan that I wanted to try and help out sc2sea and become a “role model”. Fast forward a month later and I've given absolutely no attempts to try. So here I am
#1 From now on I will be offering a free coaching service to the Zerg players of sc2sea from Bronze to Grandmaster, I don't care what rank or league you are in, I'm in it to help you guys out.
Why should you choose me?
It's an interesting question, because I'm really not here to sell myself and try to steal coaching away from others, but if you want a few reasons here are some
-I'm a great and hard-working player,
-I'm an extremely mechanically focused player, I spend all my time practicing proper match-up builds/styles and keep focus away from the all-ins and cheese. So when I teach mechanics/builds be assured that I have spent a lot of time playing and working on them.
-I've come from 4 years of competitive sporting and I highly understand how the mentality of students is, and how coaches should be (I won't bite though )
-Starcraft is my love, I do everything I can to involve myself in every way possible, and doing this only motivates me further.
-I respect the players. Personally, I want to train hard enough to become one of the best players SEA has got, some people may disrespect me for it or put me down for it, and that's fine. So I can understand when a player comes up to me and aspires to be the best as well. I have a great respect for people who can openly tell me their goals.
As a personal note I'd like to say that I'm not here for money, I currently work an odd 25-30 hours and week so cash is never really a motivation to do something like this. Maybe in the far future I might start charging, but that's something that I will deal with when I deem necessary.
Cool enough gloating! Here’s how I plan to run every lesson.
#Analyse a replay which I want to be their main problem (ex Stargate play in zvp). So I get a good understanding of the issue, and how they are dealing with it at the moment.
#Spend a small amount of time discussing said problems and how they feel about the reactions to it.
#If there is no problem, just lack of build order, I'll spend that time going through a build order with them.
#Run through the build with an extremely high focus on mechanics/macro for about 30 or so minutes.
#Find a practice partner to quickly play out one or two games in attempt to flush out the build a bit.
#Sending you notes on what I believe should be improved, and also sending you the build order we practiced.
All of this is subject to change if I feel it is not adequate in the future.
UPDATE
I will be contacting the following players for coaching this week;
QEDSchnitzel
Deathsfang
Paroxysm

Fullstop

Coaching side done!
#2 I plan to run a weekly show in which I help players understand the styles and “meta game” of a certain match-up. This includes a detailed breakdown of the style (for example Muta play in ZvP) and discussing its strengths (and how we can abuse them) and it's weaknesses (with help on how to patch these up)
I plan on running replay analyses of both pro level replays and possibly lower level replays to help describe common mistakes that everybody makes and how to play each style to its strength.
I don't want this show to be a pro-elitist style thing where we laugh at everybody's mistakes and faults in games, I want this to be a show where high-level players can contribute and discuss what they think about the style. As well as (and with a big emphasis) helping out players who feel lost in match-ups. I want them to be able to be able to watch this show and learn new builds and strategies.
Well, I think that is it for now. If I feel I can do anything else I'll update the thread, but if not then I hope sc2sea enjoys my upcoming contribution to the site!
Also please PM me if I mess up the thread or suck at English, it's not my strong point.

I would like to work on my zvp, because even though my main race is Protoss, i really want to racepick z against p because pvp infuriates me extremely so.
My goals consist of becoming one of the best players in the SEA region, or as a smaller goal, joining clan crux.
It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

What i need help with: Early-Mid game ZvP. Dealing with harassment and the fast rushes Protoss throws out early on.
My current goal is being able to consistently beat pookie and in the future, get to Master's

I don't blame you for being you, but you can't blame me for hating it
What you need help with: My zvz is atrocious. I rely on one build that has about a 50% success rate and fail hard @ standard zvz ling bane war. I have only a very few build orders and generally just do as I please and let macro win my games for me.
and a nice short sentence or two about your goals as a player : I'm just like you, I prefer to dominate my player through macro/mechanics. I hate the cheesy all-in builds and prefer to just crush my opponents through sheer macro force. As a player I just want to reach the pinnacle of my ability. Whether that means I stay in diamond forever or reach GM, it doesn't really bother me as long as it's the height of my ability.
What you need help with: ZvP. I don't understand timings of the matchup and how to play it. I go Roach/Infestor or Muta/Ling but I usually fail to end the game, and my opponent rolls over me with a deathball. I see people emphasize on denying Protoss's third, but I am unable to deal with aggression and as a result they can safely expand.
My goals as a player : I aim to reach Diamond and improve my game in any way possible, strategically or mechanically. While I do spot my mistakes, it would be very helpful if there was someone to guide me.
ID: Paroxysm.938 League: Low-Mid Masters What you need help with: I mainly need help with decision making, scouting, and tier transition timings, as well as some cheese defense
Goals: I want to train to become one of the best zergs on SEA, an incredibly tough feat I know. I want to be able to take games off the pros from our server, and others, and I would like to make a name for myself in the gaming industry as a unique player.

There are other ways to be a unique player in this game. You can be like duke and never leave a game, goes around the map with nydus and makes hatches everywhere EVERY SINGLE GAME. Pretty sure he's unique on our server too.
idk if its possible but i would like to pratice wit hu even if im playing of the n/a server ?
i am a Master Z player looking to become better and to know more the comunity of sc2sea !
if possible my goal will be to win some live event in the futur
AyuTrex 972 SEA or KR/TW but preferably SEA due to latency, mid-high diamond Zerg.
Problem: ZvP, always losing to 2-3 based protoss who turtles up a deathball and steam rolling me. I tried mass mutas and maybe my transition into other tech wasn't sufficient or fast enough.
Goals would be to not incorporate any sort of cheese/all in any games completely until my mechanics are solid. To be honest, I am already always playing macro games.
ZvZ: No ling/bling cheese(I use a safe build to defend against those and macro up). I always believe in roaches/infestors into BLs/infestors/hydras.
ZvT: No baneling busts(unless they 2 rax me with bunkers, I will counter with banes bust after defending) or RR. This MU is my best.
ZvP: No bane bust or RR. If protoss FFE(being greedy), I take 3 hatches first and gas only at 40 food, Sometimes gimmicks like proxy hatch at toss's natural is worth it too.
The reason why I prefer macro games is so that I can improve my other problem which is mechanics. It always has room for improvement and until I think I'm good with it, only then will I incorporate cheese/all-in into my play. More styles = more win.

Noble, but I wouldnt view early speedling baneling in ZvZ as cheese, this will just frustrate you, as speedling expo into ling bane is literally standard as it gets

I apologize if I offended anyone. Let me be more specific, it's more of those 1 base with 13G/13P all-in kinds. Speedlings into expo is perfectly okay as it transitions into a macro game without too much of a difference due to the fact that your opponent would have to create slings to defend.
