Okay so as per this thread, I've been having some difficulty reaching that sweet spot between good quality and horrendous file size. Unfortunately since I'm returning to work tomorrow, I won't have time to look at this again until later in the week. So this will have to do for now.

A few comments:
* Huge thanks to Raamon / Jerds for all of the footage he captured throughout the event. 99% of it was him. I just recorded the stuff at my apartment after the event was over.
* The music choice was because these two songs were pretty much playing on repeat all weekend. Just wanted to remind people in-case they hadn't heard these songs enough, haha.

* The TvZ footage on Tal'Darim is some of the highlights from the epic 45 minutes

* Sorry again for the horrible quality. I would have loved to publish this back when I originally completed it, but it's been a nightmare.

Jerds is a massive baller, was hilarious watching the ladies melt to pieces around him. Worth taking a camera just to film his shenanigans.

hey dox great vid, just a bit of a suggestion, maybe splitting it into 2 parts?

The WCG footage is awesome, and the play is a great compliment to the SEA community, but the drunken rambling, while its funny as hell, maybe put it in as a "behind the scenes" part? I donno, just seeing it myself it sort of takes away some of the glamour of the big event?

just my point of view, great work either way.

I didn't intend for the video to be anything prestigious or glamorous... It was originally just going to be a text blog but video is even better! I hope the footage at the end doesn't offend or upset anyone.

The new filesize was ~330 MB off the top of my head.

oh no man I don't think it is offensive at all, I think you've done a better job than you think on the first half of the video! I have US mates that are always asking how the SEA scene is going, and first half is a perfect way to show part of the scene I think!

LOL @ yoon making everyone wait while he puts on his tee!! jimdiddy is so awesome arm wrestling champ!!!!!!

I also really like how theres 4 aLts and 4 TAs getting along great and everyone is having a blast. Things on the interwebz sometimes get so serious... I wish we could all one day share that level of mutual respect for one other on the forums as well, celebrating as one united community just like in the video.

Yah, I'm with Pressure - split the video into two so that those from the SEA community can view our pros on a social level and have the first half to really hype the scene.
Looks really nice, though. Very well done.

Thanks for sharing this video on youtube - compressing the video must be pretty hectic.
The video quality seems pretty good too, despite knowing that it's been compressed. What's the file size of the compressed video though?

It's okay, I wouldn't really want such a half-assed video being promoted anywho. The editing is awful. :P I'll put more effort into future videos and keep them strictly professional and stuff.

Yowza! I noticed at the top it was mentioned to be an AVI file... have you tried other formats? Might have some better luck re filesize.
