I was just wondering which is the best Streaming software for your Desktop.
Because I record videos from time to time on some very occasional streaming on UStream (I just finished streaming a Game Of DOTA but the FPS isn't too well), I was just wondering which is the best but still maintains a cheap or free budget? I am using ManyCam btw, that's the only one that's working for me so far.
Any Recommendations? Well I'm all ears because I do occasionally stream and cast games. If it's recording, Fraps and HyperCam2 are my essential ones, possibly the cheapest and best for that purpose I know. But streaming???

You can't go wrong with Xsplit - it's incredibly easy to use and setup. The only quip most people have is that they're eventually making it a paid service, but apparently the subscription rates are a lot cheaper than if you paid for professional streaming software (it's only fair, really, given how good it is).
If you want to use Flash Media Live Encoder, Destiny has a nice guide on his website. It works for people who understand all the technical stuff, but for the casual user it might be best to stay away.
For Xsplit, they do have a deal for a cheaper public release to all current Beta users whilst it's still in Beta. Very honestly, the Personal License barely costs much ($39 USD over two years). I suggest you hop on the site and read the details (make an account if you haven't got one).
I honestly don't think that's a lot of money to be complaining about especially if you intend to continue to stream for a while (heck, playing World of Warcraft sets you back ~$30-40 AUD per two months depending on how cheap you can get your gamecards). If you're a casual streamer then I can understand to some extent the inflexibility of the deal.
xsplit is good but it takes a lot of resources
Even after becoming paid though as long as you don't want to make money from streaming ever then its a good deal.
