Hi, I am looking to replace my keyboard that I have been using for quite a long time. However I have a problem finding a suitable replacement so I'm looking for help. The keyboard I'm using right now is the Everglide DKT (rubber dome, tactile keys) and here's a picture of how it looks like.
Looking for a mechanical(brown/black switches) keyboard but I can't find one that has the function keys (F1-F12) aligned right above the numerical keys without gaps (refer to picture). I tried the standard keyboard layouts but those function keys just feel too far.
Anyone knows of a mechanical keyboard similar to the layout above? Note I'm not too concerned about it being 10keyless or not as the Everglide board has numpad despite being a compact keyboard.

how often do you actually use those f1 keys? while having them closer is good the gaps in the layout make it easier to find the right keys without looking. Artosis even does a video on hotkeys and talks about the advantageous of having keys missing on your keyboard.
and something else to consider is that your going to REALLY miss your backlit keyboard when you move to mechanical switches, simply because theres very very few that have them, and the ones taht do are expensive.
This is the KBT Race 75% if you want something which has backlight, and I find the function keys on this to be way better as they're not directly above the number keys, so you wouldn't misclick the function keys. It's also a very solid high quality keyboard, comes in a number of switches. You can pick them up in Sim Lim Square for around 120 - 150 depending on switch type.
Make sure you double check the keyboard specs a lot of keyboards do not have the f keys mechanical to save on cost. So if your planning to use the F keys as important keys make sure you double check.

I'm my opinion having none mechanical f-keys doesn't matter as much, but the Noppo and the KBT both have full mechanical switches
I used to use the noppo and found it quite good, the keys are nicely spaced and I still have it. It even has a function that allows a swap of the CAPS and CTRL key on the left so its higher up, which helped heaps with my play.
However I will say I hated it for non gaming applications, I love my numpad
Thanks for the replies guys, the Noppoo Choc Mini looks exactly like what I'm looking for. I have to try out the KBT Race 75% to see if I can hit F1-F5 properly.
Does anyone know where Noppoo Choc Mini can be found in Singapore, cause I called a few stores and it seems like quite a rare model here. Else I might try to order one online.
