There will be a break as the format of clan league might change a lot for next seasons.

There will need to be a small break, some other events will may or may not be happening for the BSG community that I wouldn't want BSGCL to clash with. Will also need a bit of time to revise the rules together and see if we can't make things even fairer than they are right now.

It will also be nice for the admins to have a little bit of a holiday

Howdy all, Eddy here.

Can someone from FaDe A please get in contact with me to arrange our replay of matches as required (due to earlier smurfing incident as it is yet to be corrected).

Secondly, as I had a free moment I thought i'd check to ensure the admins / managers had been adhering to the rule instigated about preventing all-killers (players who won 3 or more matches in a week could not play the next) and it seems its fallen through the cracks.

I've checked both season 2 threads, found many mentions of it in the contents but not in the OPs about the season (rules and such).

I'll have a chat to the admins about this one at some stage tonight however since we're at week 8 now I'm guessing this will remain overlooked until perhaps next season.

Most teams have adhered to this regardless (be it by chance or intentionally), however if the rule WERE in effect there would be 4 offending teams with 5 instances of breaching the rule (you naughty buggers!).

Just more of an FYI, if people have an opinion on this rule (perhaps for the sake of Season 3) feel free to post any feedback / ideas below =)

I had no idea that this was a rule tbh... but it does seem like a good idea!.. myself - If possible, I like to have different players out each week regardless, so that everyone has a go. however, with people not showing up all the time and some of the teams with only a few players in their roster.. it will prove to be quite difficult to administer...

TA replayed their matches with FaDe B due to the Eskimo smurfing incident as directed by the admins at the time (I was not involved in this decision as an admin myself).

I assume, therefore, that since Eskimo was also playing against FaDe A, it would be expected those games be replayed also - I believe this situation has happened to other teams this season too, and it would be a bit unfair / strange to not continue along this replay trend for all instances.

Personally as a team manager (stepping aside as an admin for a moment), i'd be saying all or nothing regarding the walkover replays. We either replay both teams, or neither, not just the one which FaDe B lost.

In any case you're the top team in the competition, what are you afraid of? Losing?

Yeah that was one of the challenges we were going to be dealing with this season with all the other new rules and changes to the format etc which were put forward at the start.

This one either was plainly forgotten / overlooked or excluded for a revisit at a later date... Sadly i've been out of the loop since becoming homeless 5-6 weeks ago.

I'll see what the go is, but a funny correlation is - the top teams are the top offenders! It leaves me to wonder... what if... Would the standings look much different with that rule in effect?! Juicy stuff!

Sidenote: The net will be connected (hopefully) by the end of the week for me, so its all systems go for me then. With Syn eventually departing us for other commitments i'm sure my return will be welcomed by the other admins =)

This is a rule that we were considering for this season but didn't end up implementing into the official rules. I agree it's quite good and we'll keep it in mind for Season 3. As you said Chad, too late to enforce this in Season 2 as we're about to begin Week 8 and finals are just around the corner.

If anyone actually cares for posterity sake, these are the examples where the rule would have been breached:

FaDe A - Ricochet - Round 3
FaDe A - ZeroAbsolute - Round 5
TCP - TCPOrb - Round 6
Clanless - Incognito - Round 7
KA - Fantasy Boy - Round 7

Again, this is an EXAMPLE as the rule was NOT implemented, I just like to look and think "what if" considering FaDe A is there twice (maybe they wouldn't be undefeated with this rule) as well as Clanless and KA!

Maybe this little tidbit of information will give you guys some insight into what this rule might affect in the competition.

However it wasn't really stated in the rules, so maybe it's in line for next season (but this has already been stated above)
With FaDe A, but we've been pretty much limited on our lineup, as most of our roster doesn't show up on the day, thus showing why we play a lot of games (Rez, Hal, Boss-o-chet, Badass, Zero~). I'm sure a lot of other teams have had this problem as well with players not showing up, so maybe it needs to be tweaked slightly, I'm not sure.

My thoughts on the rule is that I think it'll be a nice addition for next season, certainly gives the opportunity for lesser known players on a lineup to be able to step up and shine with the 'ace' of the team being unable to play (i.e ZeroAbsolute, the kid is absolutely crazy).
