*At the request of nirvana I will be posting this evidence that has been collected about the mGG fake sc2sea account, Blog and Reddits in this private forum so that you (the admins/mods of sc2sea) can determine the right corse of action without making this another big public drama. If the sc2sea staff do decide to make this public in any form, we request that one of staff/mods/admins (of sc2sea) are the ones to post it, however if this is the coarse of action please message either my self or mGGDrGooSe first, until then we would like this to remain private. We are trying to handle this in the best responsible way possible. As well as posting in this forum this report is also being sent to IXLRunamok, the leader of IXL, so that he may investigate himself, and answer any questions that arise. Thank you for the help in dealing with this situation.

Ok, I begin this by saying that we got a ton of info so I will try and arrange all of them so it’s all readable and comprehensible. Please bear with me if I reuse images or say the same thing twice as I’m just trying to make sure that we get all the info down that we have found.

So to begin with last night at 12:39 am on the 31/12/2012 (sc2sea/sg time) a blog was made:

The blog itself is not too harmful. However,

1. It was created by someone who is not a member of mGG (mGGSoSick), and
2. Leads people to an mGG subredit (that was created by this mGG impersonator or friend) called mGGCirclejerk :

Having a look at this Subredit (I believe that’s what they are called? I don’t use reddit.) other posts were made:

Looking through these blogs we believe there might be at least 3 (though very possibly more) people are involved.

1. PulSe/ IEpwoq :

*PulSe has since admitted to Runamok that he was involved*

PulSe is the person we have the most concrete evidence against so far. Take notice that on all the pieces of evidence we have to show PulSe it contains the same capitalization and the same numbers (312). As I said at the start there is a fair bit of information coming from different people so I will try and arrange it here, and will try not to repeat myself too much. I will first show that the creator of the subreddits name is PulSe312:

This name rang a bell to us for a couple reasons first off, Pulse had applied to join mGG some time ago stating that he used a different tag on sea server (IEpwoq) :

Also because the Caster (IXLRunaMoK) for Friday night’s clan war between mGG and IXL had constantly referred to IEpwoq as Pulse. (Apparently his bnet name on Kr is Pulse) This player did very successfully knocking out 3 players of ours before being knocked out. During his games there were 2 spectators in the chat, whose names both began with Dan* (though finished with other letters that we cannot recall). These 2 spectators were only around during Pulse's games, and were EXTREMELY bad mannered to mGG members and abusing us before they were banned. One of these guys even claimed he was suppose to be playing vs mGG but might not need to do so. I have no hard evidence that these 2 are the other 2 people involved though we suspect that they are the 2 people posting on the subreddit (which I will go into more details later).

The timing that the blog by mGGSoSick on sc2sea had been posted, directly correlates with the time that the subreddit was posted (both within the hour of each other).
Sc2sea user IXLPulSe and mGGSoSick (the user made to create the blog) logged off at exactly the same time on sc2sea, that is at 3:41am on the 31st of December. Pretty damn coincidental.
Lastly we made the connection between Pulses accounts on sc2sea : Was PulSe312 is now IXLPulSe, which has the signature that links to his twitch account : http://www.twitch.tv/PulSe312. And of course the connection can be made between his sc2sea, his twitch, his twitter and his reddit using the same name, punctuation and numbering.

2. Ruined

Ruined left a message in the blog chat saying “well it's definitely not me I learned my lesson many a time.” Through some investigation of the IXL members streams we have found that ruined was indeed involved, names Malice as one of the people possible involved (this is important due to both Malice and Ruined being involved in the game against Light that will be talked about later). This evidence was obtained watching IXLSaviours Stream where you can quite clearly see the IXL Skype chat where ‘Benny-Chan’ makes a quote from Jacko ‘Ruined’ Wood. This quote reads:

We would like to point out that this not only involves RuineD directly, but also shows that many members of IXL new of this happening as it was being discussed in their skype chat.

3. Wrigleys:

Wrigleys was one of the contributors to this though not making any impersonation attempts to be mGG has posted in this subreddit:

By following onto his name and looking at his profile:

we can see that:
He is (NA account)a Master Zerg with the gametag : DrunkTaco.810.
We are not sure what his SEA Servers name is yet.
But that link will show that he is Hong Kong Chinese living in Australia. And even posted a photo of himself on his readit: http://imgur.com/gallery/S7KXr/new (not the most helpful photo but I find it funny that he post that on the internet.)

4. Red-John:

Once again not a particularly mean or damaging thread, however it is also posted in the mGGcirclejerk subreddit and is THE post that was linked to in the blog by mGGSoSick on sc2sea.

So once again following the name from this thread: http://i.imgur.com/sK0Hz.png we are lead to Red-Johns reddit: http://www.reddit.com/user/red-john.

From this we are once again unable to find a in game name, but through reading through the post it states he is in (a very hot part of) Australia, Presumably plays Terran (lots terran disscussions while none for Protoss or Zerg) and states in the Infeza observing thread, that he is a Kiwi.

5. mGGLightFanboy (reddit account)

So once again this is not a real mGG member and could be any one including the people mentioned above (or someone else completely). Looking at the thread:

Lightfanboy makes a reference to ‘He only loses when he isn't prepared for the build.’ In reference to something that light said in a game which he played with ruined that was observed by glazed, krnx, taeja, mGGLiquid, mGGTitan, Pharaoh, Malice, IXLsyntox (who also played in the clan war), pow, mGGxJieun, mGGSaiyan and iomega. All of these observers are either
A. mGG members. B. people who have been participating In our public channel or C. Members of IXL

As PulSe was not observing in this game, it seems to suggest the possibility of multiple members of IXL involved with this OR the innocent spectators who might have shared this part of the convo with their teammates and/or friends.

As some of you may know, Light has recently joined mGG as an honorary member. Through these reddits he too has been specifically pointed out through lines such as:
• “I bet protoss will win because Light is so gosu! I wish he would let me nibble on his dick.”
• “Light is so good! He only loses when he isn't prepared for the build. I wish he would give me his autograph and let me nibble on his dick”

We feel strongly against these lines (though from obvious trolls) as we do not want such remarks to threaten to hurt the relationships with the strong players of this community that we have been hoping to build.


Summary :
So all in all we are 100% sure that the PulSe312 that started this subreddit is the same Pulse from IXL who also plays under the tag IEpwoq on the SEA server.

We know that some members of IXL are involved and that this was discussed in their Skype chat before the blogs and reddits had been made.

We believe there are a number of people involved in this Subreddit.

We also believe that at least one other member from IXL is involved due to the reference to Light's game as well as the 2 trolls during the clan war's streaming (one of them mentioning that he was suppose to be in the lineup but might not need to play if IEpwoq all kills).


We ask this list of people below remains private if the thread does go Public to make sure that we do not face any sort of back lash (such as Rossi and Mafia have)
