Hello guys. I am from the Philippines. I am planning to buy and play SC2, but I am worried that I will not be able to play a proper multiplayer game because of internet issues.

Are there any Filipino players here or people who play from the Philippines? If so, how is your gaming experience? Are there any lags? What is your ISP and speed? Thank you!

As long as you have one server with less than 250 ping and with no packet loss, it will be playable

I'm under PLDT and many would agree Philippines has shit internet speed.. but it should be manageable as long as your computer can also handle the game..

I'm currently Diamond (better than average league) and I kinda enjoy playing even under slow internet speed. It's just since my computer's specs are bad, I have my screen freeze from time to time. Not really an issue of lag for me, it's more of needing a better computer lol.

Overall, I still enjoy playing even with these struggles.. my download speed is like 3-4mbps and upload is like 2-3mbps.

I bought my from Datablitz lol (like 4 yrs ago, and for HotS 2 years ago). The speed is "eh, pwede na" hahah

Hopefully yeah you can play well! I play on KR server and rarely the NA server. Would choose to play in SEA server although it's pretty dead now lol..

ProTip: PH has better ping on the KR server

Kr pretty much the best server for us ph players... NA is ok, depending on your provider and sea is good also but then people are dead there so yeh
