Hi guys, I got some kingston RAM to review and did a video review and theres also a written version below that. Please move if this is in the wrong place.
Hi, Im Satu from Xeria Gaming, and today Im doing a review of the Kingston HyperX Predator 8 gb ram set.
For those of you who don't know much about RAM, it stands for random access memory, and basically if you're using a program it can store memory there for a short period of time to be used for whatever task it needs, and will later get rid of the memory to make way for future tasks. The amount of RAM you have and the speed it works at are the main things you need to take into consideration.
For gaming purposes, its generally reccommended to have 8 gb or above, but if you're wanting to do streaming, its usually better to have some more due to the fact you're using more programs at the same time. This RAM is also very high up the rankings in the speeds it can operate at, which is always what you'd be wanting.
After about a week of trying out this RAM, I can say its better than what I was using previously, and that I'd reccommend it to anyone looking for some more RAM.
Kingston is also a big supporter of esports, having sponsored Cityhunter and Xeria gaming for Australian esports for a long time. They also recently sponsored IPL5 and have been a sponsor of the NA team Evil Geniuses for a long period of time. So, if you want to support esports in your next RAM purchase, I hope that you take into consideration everything Kingston has done for us, and is continuing to do for esports.
