Hi fellow sc2 players

Just wondering, is there a tournament in SEA that can be played at home? (BNet I mean)

I looked at the tournaments section but there are too many... I am so confused.

Basically I am a total noob to competitions, so please be nice to me :P Willing to learn and join tournaments.

Hmmm.....all those tournaments seem to be filled with pro players already...leaving us newbies with no chance..

I want to play in the GPD, but I am unavailable every Sundays...

And other tournaments, like I said, are filled with pros already

Well, I guess there is nothing I can do = /

EDIT: By the way is there a list of tournaments? Like a full list of tourneys so it makes it easier.

And allow me one more question, is there a list of tournaments in Perth only?

List of tournaments, once again, is in the tournament section. There are plenty on. Yes, a lot of the tournaments involve pro players but tournaments are meant to be fun, not all about winning so it's good to join the community open and similar tournaments for the experience.

I don't believe there are any lists that are state-specific.

there are the GPDs run most weeks, but if you can't play in those then most tournaments will be open and likely involve pro and GM players. that's no reason not to enter though, as you may get an easier opponent in the first round, and when it's free to enter it's always worth the chance you play against a pro and beat them somehow

i believe there's plat level tournaments run regularly on NA through sites like zeek and playhem, but i don't know much about those.

there's also lan tournaments run in perth every few months which usually feature a range of players from bronze league through to yang league. details of which will always pop up on the perth SC2 facebook page:

do the GPD dude its a good tourney casters,live stream and great players sign up friendly peeps im fairly new myself but its a great community so far.

A shame you're not available for the GPD, hopefully there are other tournaments you can join.

Plenty of good links to threads here, feel free to ask in chatbox about any other tournament that hasn't been covered here and of course keep an eye on that very handy Latest Tournament section which is just under the chatbox and all other tournaments to the right.
